See, this is how Jericho should have made his debut in 1999. Have Linda Mcmahon come out and announce his debut to a dead crowd whilst JR reads out how many WCW TV title reigns he's had. Ladies and gentlemen, you’re in for a treat, this young superstar went 13 minutes with Raven at Halloween Havoc and then competed on Nitro the next night!

Can somebody explain to me the context of Road Dogg and Billy Gunn wearing Green Bay Packers jerseys at Royal Rumble 1998 to troll the San José crowd? I thought it was something to do with the Superbowl but Packers played Broncos that year. The Packers beat the 49ers in the NFC championship that year.

I remember Bret not being too happy with the speech he gave when he was inducted because he was still suffering from lingering health issues due to his stroke. He’s my favorite of all time, so I’m very happy he’ll get some what of a do over.

I don’t remember the exact situation, but there was a Raw segment where babyfaces Jerry Lawler and John Cena completely berated Vickie Guerrero for being ugly. It was so cringeworthy.

CM Punk has been gone from the WWE longer than Shawn Michaels after his first retirement.

Clearly Cena has been “the guy” longer than Undertaker ever was. But I answer this question with, if you erased one guy from existence, who’s absence would be felt more. And to me it’s easily Taker. Taker’s character rose above everything else in the company for almost 30 years. Cena came to prominence in the era of multiple stars. Take Cena out and any number of guys could fill that role - Batista, Orton, Brock, Edge, and so on. Not to say Cena isn’t one of the biggest superstars in history, but I just don’t see anyone sliding into Taker’s role like they could with Cena.

I always liked how high Tony’s chair was. Made him seem so much better than whatever scrubs he was at the booth with.

He was demoralised after Yokozuna ended Hulkamania. Reports are that Hulk was desperate to get Yoko over to WCW. He wanted his win back When Sonny Onoo kept bringing Japanese guys in only to get betrayed by them joining the nWo, I was absolutely certain it was going to lead to him bringing Yoko in to face Hogan.

I’m looking forward to Punk going on a podcast to talk about how incompetent Amann’s lawyer is. And then get sued for it.

Is this a real court room trial or is this one of those things that’s going to end with the Undertaker making the doctor buy Punk a six pack of Pepsi?

Sorry, I meant he didn't do anything of note since Wembley until about his 95 heel turn. His run in WCW wasn't too bad. Had a main event stint with a fun feud with Vader and was one of the few people to never betray Sting after teaming up with him. I now believe that Davey Boy spent the next two years watching people betray Sting and realizing that he should have, until the frustration built up and he took it out on Diesel.

Kevin Nash saying that Goldberg's plan after the Fingerpoke of Doom was derailed when Goldberg hurt his hand punching out a limo window, which didn't happen until a year after, and had nothing to do with the Goldberg failed push. This is the one I came here to post. I think Nash genuinely remembers it that way, but it drives me crazy every time I hear him say it, especially since it’s always an explanation of why the finger poke of doom failed. Another one along those lines is Flair saying on his podcast that he found Brody’s body in the showers, when I’ve read he wasn’t even in Puerto Rico at the time.

Another funny/sad Hogan story from Sullivan regarding the Uncensored cage of doom match. Sullivan originally planned for Luger to turn on the Dungeon at the beginning completing his tweener angle and going full face to help even the odds for Hogan and Savage. But that didn’t work for someone, brother. Hogan also wanted Pillman in the match but he refused.

I forget if the timelines worked out but I remember being annoyed that they never had him and Jericho interact with each other in the wwe. I also remember someone on these boards saying something along the lines of "if dean malenko comes to the wwe they'd give him a pimp character or something" They did have a short match on Heat sometime between the Radicalz debut and Wrestlemania 2000. It was nothing special though.
