The whole schtick with Bryan for nearly the last two years now has been "he doesn't fit the mold therefore he's not good enough" and him proving them wrong because of his ability.
Ability trumps appearance. Owens has the ability.
But it'll take devotion by the bookers to not give up on the character two months in and turn him into a dancing fat guy. And the fact that Owens seems to be one of HHH's guys that he's grooming for the future, chances are he'll be given a fair whack to get over.

Crazy Rick is great. He pops up every now and again and I love it everytime. At this point in the comics, I had the same thought as you. The way everything was going I figured that Rick's group were becoming the villains, which I thought was an interesting way to take the story. I won't say anything about how things panned out but certainly at this point I think we're supposed to question the morality of the group overall. And just on the second point, I can't remember how it went down in the comic, but if Rick's going to kill the doctor he isn't going to do it in cold blood. He'll think up someway of making it look like self-defence or orchestrate some sort of chaos that he can be killed in the crossfire. Pete slashes Douglas's Wife's throat on his way to kill Rick, Rick kills him with Douglas's approval. Deanna being a stand in for Douglas in the show [/quote] {Spoiler} Ah yes, of course. Actually seeing Deanna acting all isolated after her son made me remember it was Douglas' wife dying that started him down the nutso path. Just didn't remember how she died.

It's meant to be a pastiche of the openings to Irish faith-based programs. Lots of aerial shots and gentle, nice sounding music. Thank you. I had assumed that but yeah I just find it more boring than droll. I know that parody aspect was kind of the point, but I still loathe it. The Father Ted intro is an instrumental by Neil Hannon that went on to become a song called Songs of Love, www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MgdWQEa2ngOriginally Graham Linehan wanted a song that was a parody of the 'plinky-plonky' sitcom songs and was ready to go with an instrumental that went on to become a song called Woman of the World, www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZv8wZE3azsSo in an alternate world, Father Ted's intro sounds something like that.

Father Ted's is an instrumental but somehow manages to be wrist-slittingly boring, especially with the landscape shots that make up the title sequence. It just doesn't suit the overly comical, near slapstick tone of the show. It's meant to be a pastiche of the openings to Irish faith-based programs. Lots of aerial shots and gentle, nice sounding music.

I consider The Last Airbender to be the worst ever adaptation of an already existing property.
I haven't watched Teen Titans Go but if they managed to pronounce the characters' names correctly then it's already better than Last Airbender.

I'm in Cork in Ireland. Bear in mind that for some reason Avengers is coming out in the UK and Ireland a week earlier than the US. I believe the last one did the same also Yeah, it did. I just don't know as to why. Normally movies come out in the States first and then make it over here. It seems strange that for both Avengers they've done it the other way round.

Well, got my tickets booked today. Friday, April 24th 9pm. So only 35 days and just under 3 hours to go! Where are you located? How were you able to get your tickets so early? I've tried to buy mine and no sites have them on sale yet. I'm in Cork in Ireland. Bear in mind that for some reason Avengers is coming out in the UK and Ireland a week earlier than the US.

Well, I heard he had sex with Brad's ex wife and then made Brad smell his finger. I heard that Lloyd died and that during the funeral Jake showed up in a police car, hooked a chain to the casket and drove away while Brad clung on.

People were really taken by surprise by the Brother dying in Big Hero 6? I figured he was marked for death from the beginning. That's kinda what Disney does and all of his dialouge was very much "I'm not gonna be around much so here's everything about me really fast" Personally I found it funny from the standpoint of the archetypal backstory for a main character. "Alright the kid's already an orphan, so now let's kill his brother!"

Out of all the deaths in Sons of Anarchy, Opie's hit the hardest.

While I'm disappointed to hear Jake's gone this thread has made me aware that there's going to be an 80's Dan movie, which I am very on board for.

I like to pretend Dexter ended at the fourth season finale. I really really like to believe that. Before Dexter got back to the house, he was giving one of his monologues on his boat and I remember thinking, "Huh, it seems like his character has had a nice little arc here. Y'know, if the show ended right now, I wouldn't be too upset". Then he got back to the house. Even then I thought there was so much potential for great ways it could go.....it didn't go any of those ways.

I'm having a hard time this season not seeing Rick and gang as the bad guys here. It looks like a hostile takeover by people suffering from PTSD. I'm glad someone warned them. They're stealing shit, lying, planning stuff when they've been there a cup of coffee and being hyper paranoid. I get why after the Governor and Terminus, but if you don't want to be there, then f***ing leave. Don't go in and then start planning a take over....wut da hale (Booker T). Carol jumping to the beating was a bit of a stretch, and her saying that Rick had to kill him made me even more done with Carol than I was. Again, yeah it's not cool that he's abusive, but if they kill an established Alexandrian in cold blood they're going to bring about a war. One that they seem hell bent on starting. At this point in the comics, I had the same thought as you. The way everything was going I figured that Rick's group were becoming the villains, which I thought was an interesting way to take the story. I won't say anything about how things panned out but certainly at this point I think we're supposed to question the morality of the group overall. Alright, haven't looked at any responses but I think I have it....
You take 8 of the people and put 4 on each side of the see-saw (Used once).
One of two things will happen;
A) If they are balanced everyone is the same weight and they can be put to the side.
You take the remaining 4 and put two on each side (Used twice). The side with the lighter person will be up higher. Take those two people and put them on each side to find the lighter person (Used three times).
B) If they are unbalanced that means the lighter person is among these 8. Take 6 of those 8 people and put three on either side (Used twice). One of two things will happen;
i) If they are balanced that means 1 of the 2 people you didn't weigh is the lighter person. You can then put each of these two people on the see-saw (Used three times) and find the lighter person.
ii) If they are unbalanced the side with the lighter person will be higher up. You've now narrowed the field to three people. You can put any 2 of the 3 remaining people on the see-saw (Used three times), either they're unbalanced in which case the one higher up is the lighter person, or they're balanced meaning that the person not on the see-saw is the lighter person.

Why are the 2002 DVD's such a commodity. I saw Vengeance and a whole bunch of other 2002 shows in CEX for like €7 a pop.

My friend was only telling me about it the other night. Two episodes in and enjoying it.
For anyone that wants a show with a similar feel, I'd highly recommend checking out Garth Marenghi's Darkplace.
