To quote the Fink: "Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Volkoff requests that you all please rise and respect his singing of the Soviet national anthem." As a kid I was 100% into booing the hell out of that. As an adult it makes me smile a lot. Such a simple but effective way to generate heat in a Cold War atmosphere.

This thread really reminds me how out of touch I am with current slang. I literally thought that was going to be about him playing ice hockey or some shit like that. I thought it was going to be how perfect the ice in his glass looks when he's pouring a drink. Not even trying to make a lame joke here, that's the first thing that came to mind. Strong ice game Weak ice game

It's, at the very least, much more watchable than RAW. Agreed 100%. That being said I'm not sure how much of a compliment it is.

His suspension was totally stupid, but the bottom line is he's a footnote in wrestling history and Hogan isn't. So there will be a massive double standard in terms of punishments and second chances. You’re really underestimating why Titus is still with WWE and it’s sure not because he tripped up in Saudi Arabia. Dude has an amazing inspirational story of how he lived in a single parent home and got out of a crime ridden neighbourhood to make to the minor leagues in American football and win the Orange Bowl several times over. The fact he’s in WWE right now and still there is a testament to not just his willingness to not take himself seriously in that environment but also how damn important he is in the PR push. Even when he was suspended, he still did those PR dates and the Be A Star talks and everything. He never complained about it in public when any one of us would have. Honestly, even with Hogan’s history and legacy, I’d rather have a roster of Titus O’Neils than Hulk Hogans. That's all fine, but I still feel confident in saying that in the world of pro wrestling, and pop culture in general, the two aren't comparable. So there will be a double standard when it comes to punishment and second chances. This is not taking a moral stance that it is justified, it's just the reality of the situation. I thought Titus getting suspended in general was dumber than f***, and I'm all for him being on the roster. I'm not trying to knock him, but unless something drastic happens with his career he won't be very known other than to wrestling fans.

He's one of the worst commentators I've ever heard. Not just in wrestling, but ever.

There's a story doing the rounds on Twitter that Titus O'Neil was so enraged upon seeing Hogan in the arena on Sunday that he stormed out of the building. Can't say I blame him especially since Titus got suspended - missing out on a WrestleMania payday - for lightly brushing past Vince McMahon during Daniel Bryan's retirement speech whilst Hogan gets the red carpet rolled out for him. His suspension was totally stupid, but the bottom line is he's a footnote in wrestling history and Hogan isn't. So there will be a massive double standard in terms of punishments and second chances.

Wasn't the bootleg Shield called Riot Control? Technically, it was "Riot Control!" Because the exclamation mark makes them truly original. That is one of the saddest pictures I've ever seen. I can't stop laughing.

Lets hope this is limited to Hogan showing up as a talking head on documentaries and maybe to induct someone (Beefcake? Earthquake?) into the HOF. Even if Hogan was scandal-free his whole life, he cant take bumps (or even be on offense) anymore, and I cant see him working as a manager (though i'm curious about what he would be like on commentary). If he was scandal free he'd be worth bringing back once a year or whatever to pop an audience. Like it or not the guy is the Babe Ruth of pro wrestling. But other than that and the other stuff, yeah, I can't see him doing much else.

Anyone caught wearing those in public needs a good old fashioned ass-whipping. I would not convict if I were on the jury.

Even though I enjoyed it, Real American Cesaro seems bizarre to me to this day.

It's kind of shocking how totally and utterly dreadful Coach is, and I was kind of a fan of his back in the day.

I herd that it was the way he acted backstage, sure when the cameras were on he was a nice guy, but the second the cameras were off he was a bully. I don't believe that for a second. The very idea is inconcievabull. I thought it was quite bulliveable myself.

He was over, could go in the ring and had a great match with hornswoggle then next thing we know they released him. That's bull. As a 40 year old father I enjoyed this joke/post.

Stop acting like you think it's bugging. We see through your act. We know what you're about. I can think he's bugging and fully appreciate it. Baby Oil, Peanut Butter and now showing this damn bruise twice. He's absolutely bugging and I love him for it. Is that new slang for being on LSD that I don't know because I'm old?

I find in ring work to be the least important part of professional wrestling.
Promos, charisma, good stories, and psychology (which I guess can be argued as in ring work) matter far more to me.

For years I had no idea what Maggle in reference to JBL was. Until I read somewhere else that it was the way he pronounces Cole's name, and that was like a month ago.
Unless I'm off on that one too.
