What's AR Fox/Dante Fox up to these days? He's a guy I could legit see dropped into the main event scene of any promotion today and look credible.

Cody still feels open to interpetation, like he'll play up heel mannerisms in matches where they'd like his opponents to get cheered as well, not necessarily like it's leading to a turn. He's been doing this since the Dustin match when they started.
Omega beating up Marko was immediately played up like a cut-and-dried Bad Guy Move that's almost certainly leading to an alignment flip.

I know talking about AEW doing finishes that leave the loser looking strong is one of those topics that gets hotly debated here, but damn if that wasn't a textbook example of the perfect "loser looks strong" finish.

This is the most extraordinary wrestling theme since RVD's TNA song.

Undertaker vs Undertaker from Summerslam '94
Really, I've got a soft spot for most of the New Generation era wacky Undertaker gimmick matches.

Dolph needed to to get out of WWE years ago. Go out, bet on himself, and prove that he was worth more than what they gave him. Then maybe he could have come back with some sort of fire in him. Instead he just hung around, whining about the same shit. He's been stuck on this angst phase for the better part of 5 years now. It's old. Dolph would’ve benefitted so much if AEW was a thing 5 years ago, now I feel he’s damaged goods as far as North American wrestling goes unless he takes a looong hiatus. He wouldn't have jumped. There were opportunities outside WWE 5 years ago too; not AEW-sized, but big enough for guys like Christian and Morrison to risk it, and even though they eventually came back they got the chance to show what they were capable of beyond the McMahon bubble. (Not to mention Cody himself, who didn't have a company waiting for him when he quit.)

The thing that still bothers me is when posts with a funny typo that inspire even funnier responses immediately get edited and corrected, so folks coming into the thread later are left confused and baffled about what the first few replies are about.

I’m not sure why Ted Dibiase one day decided he wanted to ruin Lex Luger’s life. Pretty much nothing the Million $ Corporatation did made any sense (cents?). Why humiliate Nikoli Vokoff when he’d been retired for years? Why provoke the Undertaker by making a fake one? Why falsely accuse Luger - Couldn’t you have just signed Tatanka? Why develop a plan to get Shawn Michaels to take Sid as a bodyguard just to screw him out of his title match against Diesel? Wouldn’t Shawn be easier to beat than Diesel? Couldn’t you just have signed Sid and asked for a title shot? When you're as rich as Dibiase, you can do stupid, indulgent shit for the hell of it. It's the wrestling equivalent of shooting a Tesla into space.

Considering how badly he's put his foot in his mouth before on topics a lot lighter than this, I'm actually relieved Seth managed to stick to a blandly meaningless stock response.

This has hit such a level of cartoonish villainy that if it came out Vince McMahon deliberately exposed Renee to Covid-19 in order to force Moxley off of AEW shows, I'd believe it.

Just when you think Vince McMahon can't get any lower, he shows you he can. Hey, we've all known for decades that Vince knowingly covered up Jimmy Snuka murdering a woman.

I know hindsight is 20-20. But I think that maybe, just maybe, a few people could see that bribing the govenor to open your business at a time when it was unsafe to do so, followed by not properly testing people, not allowing people to wear masks, & bringing in 'friends & family' into an environment where COVID-19 has already been tested positive for, that MIGHT JUST cause some serious problems. Call me Nostradamus, I dunno. But hey, they had to do it! WWE is 'woven into the fabric of American culture', yada yada yada. I will admit that I'm not from the United States, & so my knowledge of said culture is not 100%. But I would bet you pounds to Pringles that if WWE disappeared, the American people would be able to carry on. I am cheering so hard for Roman Reigns right now. I'm guessing if you stopped and asked the average American about WWE they'd either go, "That fake shit?" or "I haven't watched that shit in years." They'd look at you blankly until you clarified you mean WWF.

I can only be mad about WWE specifically being so reckless with its lack of precautions until it was too late. Society as a whole is f***ing up in its response to this pandemic and WWE's only part of the crowd there. I chiefly blame Florida, et al for enabling all this crap to begin with.
Given his associations with the current administration, and role as an advisor on the committee for "reopening the economy", I think it's fair to say Vince McMahon is more than part of the crowd.
