Hey guys, it's Brian. I need some advice...Bad.
A Few Months ago, I lost my new job here in Tennessee. A combination of me having a nerves episode, and the company being jerks (in my opinion) Thankfully, I have begun seeing a therapist, and he has begun helping me with all of my various problems, Actually talking to him has been very helpful. I am realizing that it's okay to screw up in life, and not to be so worried. I also got tickets to WrestleMania XXVII in Georgia on 4/3/11. I cannot wait at all. I am looking for a job, but right now money is not a problem. Things were going fine for me...until this horrific tragedy in Japan. I've been watching the news constantly for the last week, scared for those in Japan...and now scared for us in America.
Now before you lecture me about being callous. Understand that I know just how lucky and fortunate I am here in Tennessee. Over 1/2 a million in Japan are without a home or almost anything else to their name, and that around 10,000 have lost their lives. I have donated money to the red cross, and I pray every day for their safety and that life soon returns to normal, or at least the closest thing to normal we can achieve. And I sit in awe of the brave people at that plant who know they are going to die, and still work hard to ensure the lives of their countrymen. That having been said, I am scared...terribly scared about radiation. I am scared about this...more than I have told my loved ones. I am scared about this "radioactive plume" that is expected to hit the west coast today. I keep reading about how there is "no risk" to the US...but I also read the comments to the stories, and everyone commenting has already assumed that we're all going to die. I just can;t take it anymore. I am scared that things will get worse. That I won't get to go to WrestleMania because the rad. will be so bad that we are urged not to leave our house...I am scared our food supply will be contaminated...I am scared...I am scared over what may be nothing...because everywhere I turn I keep reading conflicting news. I just want answers dammit. I want to know the truth...I just.......want to know.
If you can slap some sense into me I would sure appreciate it.
Thank you from the bottom of my (racing) heart.
Brian

Hey guys, I have something to ask you.
Like many of you, whenever I watch wrestling at home, I am usually critical of what I see. Though for the most part, I am entertained, but I am still critical at time.
Here's the rub, though. Whenever I go to live events (and especially Wrestlemania next week), I become a kid again. I cheer all the good guys, boo all the bad guys, and I just go to have a good time, and recapture part of my rapidly fading youth ;-)
Does anyone else do that?

Yeah usually the video in order to build up a PPV match.
and having watched the Austin/Punk video...it is more evidence that WWE has the best video production group around. I actually believed that the two were cutting a REAL promo against each other.

Hey guys, I want to know something on your end.
One of the best parts of WWF/E's TV Production are the, frankly, AWESOME promotional videos their department comes up with. In fact, these videos have an amazing ability to get you fired up for ANY kind of match, even something like, say, Batista vs. The Great Khali.
Now I know we can't post videos or links here, but Just write your favorite PPV Match Promos, or Just Promo Videos.. Here are mine to start off.
Austin/Rock WM X-7 - "I NEED to beat you Rock...I need to beat you more than anything you could ever imagine!"
HBK/Taker - WMXXVI - "If I can't beat you...I have no career!"
Anyway, I have a lot more I like, which ones do YOU like>

50 - The Fact that John Cena still has a job, despite moving a TON of merch for the company and being a phenomenal goodwill ambassador for WWE.

Hey everyone.
For my big Christmas present this year, I got two tickets to WrassleManya in Hotlanta. I have never been to a WWE Pay-Per-View event before, and I am just wondering, what do I need to know about attending the show of shows. Any tips you can give would be most wonderful
Thank you so very much

Actually, there were TWO other game shows Trebek hosted in 1991. The first was the 1990/91 revival of "To Tell the Truth." One of the new game shows to be on for one season, and yet have THREE regular hosts. (Gordon Elliott, Lynn Swann, and Alex.)
The other was "Classic Concentration" which would end it's 4-year network run that year....EGAD, I am such a nerd.

Hey guys, I thought this would good for a couple of laughs.
I LOVE going to indy wrestling shows, and here in Tennessee, we actually have a few decent Indy promotions. Of course for every good show I see, there are about a dozen bad ones, and well, I thought it would be cool to share one of mine, and ask you to share your stories. Here goes.
This show took place a bout...I think 3 years ago at the local little league ball-field. It was run and booked by an old acquaintance of mine named Pat Peavely (AKA: Perfect Pat) It was a free show, and well...me and my Dad got our money's worth. Where to start?
Well, Pat decided to call his promotion "Southeastern Championship Wrestling" to cash in on the famous Knoxville Territory of the 70s. The ring was set up in the parking lot, and the only seats were concrete bleachers about 200 feet away from the ring. The dressing rooms were in the local rec. center next to the ball-field...about 500 feet away, meaning that everyone's entrances were about 2 minutes long. This would all be fine however...if the actual wrestling was good.....it wasn't. Now I will forgive indies of a lot of things, but I will not forgive when the wrestlers simply aren't trying. And no-one was giving it an effort. Even the ring announcer was a joke saying things like "Uh, the next match is...like...one fall with a 10 minute limit"...The low point came with a cruiser-weight match featuring a guy named, I kid you not, "Jack Hardy." He was dressed like Matt Hardy, with facepaint like Jeff, and he even came out to "Modest", they basically tried to sell him as a third Hardy boy. The lowest point of this match came when he botched a Canadian Destroyer...in the most hilario of fashions. He didn't even flip, he just sort of rolled forward and his opponent sold it terribly.
Me and my dad finally left after a particularly onerous incident. During intermission, I was hungry, so I walked over to the concession stand to get a hot dog. I went back to be seat and...I kid you not...the Hot dog...wasn't...cooked! They had knowingly just served me a raw hot dog. I walked right back down, and talked to the lady behind the counter, and (get this) she was genuinely offended that I DARED to ask for a cooked Hot Dog. That was it...Me and dad left at that point. I read the results on their Facebook page, and it ended with local wrestling "legend" (and I use that term VERY loosely) Johnny Raynor getting screwed over by Commish Pat Peavley, doing his 131st heel turn.
Anyway, that's my story. What are yours?

Hey guys, I've been looking around on youtube for a specific ric flair matchup. You're gonna hate me for this, but I don't remember his opponent. What I remember more than anything was the entrance way used a Scrolling laserlight show which had Ric's name misspelled as "Rick Flair."
If you guys could help me, I would be most appreciative.
Thank you
Brian~

This may sound odd...But I always thought it would be Disco Inferno. Yeah he's a weirdo...but he had good charisma, and I thought he worked his gimmick really well.

Hey guys. Well, seeing that WrestleMania XXVII will be held in Atlanta, GA, just a four-hour drive from the Casa de Henegar, me and my dad are finally crossing something off the Bucket List and we're going to the Show of Shows.
I need to know though, does anyone have any idea when tickets are going on sale?
Thanks

Hey guys, got something to show you, dunno if it has been posted before. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV0fiknn6wsThe first in a long series (30+) of youtube videos, outlining one of the most unusual feuds in wrestling history. This was from USWA back in about 1993, when USWA was one of the WWE's developmental territories (along with my beloved SMW) This was a big angle that featured Jerry Lawler with Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Gangrel...And Vince McMahon! Basically, Vince played an early version of the Mr. McMahon character, a full 5 years before it became prominent...and he was teh awesome. www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3Fw7loEEfk (Part 7, featuring Vince's first ever heel promo.) It's awesome to look at...and a great small bit of Pro Wrestling history. Anyway, hope you like it Brian~

Yeah I agree. It was great hearing him actually praise something for a change, but I disagree on his hatred for Team LayCool...I think they are working a very good gimmick.
