I have been saying this for a long while now. Here are some of Hogan's Japanese matches, found on youtube. Anyone who buys the parroted wives tale that Hogan only knows four moves and can't use submission holds needs to see these. Please note, these are split into a multiple part video because of Youtube's policy (which as far as I know has yet to be rescinded) that says a video put on there these days can only be ten minutes long. Hogan vs. Tatsujin Fujinami; 1994 part one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wyLnS-JzAQ (part two is on the list of related videos to the side

I have always known Hogan can Wrestle "IF" he choses to, he maybe should have pulled a few of those moves out during his WWE run and maybe just maybe it might have meant something.

Just because someone is capable of wrestling, doesn't mean most of their matches aren't horrible.

Honestly, I think the fact that he *could* wrestle yet chose not to makes him look even worse in my book.

Vince doesn't want his guys to wrestle that much, I mean if Hogan was coasting during his run at his own free will, do you think Vince would let him keep the belt?

Considering the amount of money Hogan was making him, Hogan could, and more than likely did, do whatever he wanted and Vince would have stayed quiet.

Pretty much everyone around Hulk wrestled better than he did, other than a few. So I don't buy "Vince didn't want him to do anything".

Hogan is just smart, if he can sell out arenas doing his normal routine and not taking to many bumps, why change?

I actually like him better when he just does the routine. I am a Real American.

Wow if Hogan wrestled like that here... I'd still hate him. There are plenty of reasons the Douche sucks, wrestling the same crappy match here for 20+ years is only one of them. And like Random Hero said "the fact that he *could* wrestle yet chose not to makes him look even worse in my book."
Sorry Warwolf, I know you want everyone to love your hero as much as you do, but that is never going to happen.

People will just bash Hogan and never give the guy credit. Trying to get people to change their minds about him on any message board is ridiculous.

*bashes Hogan* Seriously, I don't care what his matches in Japan or Africa or The Lost City of Atlantis are like, I'm just tired of the yearly "nostalgia" act, but guess we won't be getting it this year

Problem is, Cyberwoo, that even Hogan himself has said that the American promoters told him to wrestle the style he does here, rather than letting him actually show what he can do, because he looked like he should be a powerhouse who was little more than a brawler. Plus, some of what he did in Japan (Though sadly none of the submission holds of course), did make it over here. And Cyberwoo, remind me again, who's your favorite wrestler so I can know to call him douche from now on?

But when you think about it isn't it more of Vince's fault for Hogan developing an ego and returning everyone year? All he has to do is say no and lock him out.People jump on Hogan but not on WCW Management nor Vince they could've stood up to him but they didn't.They let it get into his head and thats why we get the annual Hogan "return" match.
