I am boycotting Superstars until John Cena gets some damn TV time. It just isn't fair!

I haven't seen the match yet, but it sounds like it was actually a great match. Ending sounds a bit dumb though. I am not sure how long Orton was in the STF, but with the title on the line and only a few seconds left him tapping makes no sense. Him holding on a few seconds longer would be much more logical as Cena would have had to break the hold once time ran out. Where do you get that conclusion exactly? Nothing I've ever seen or watched suggest the hold would need to be broken. Also, the clock keeps going with the 30 second break. The clock doesn't actually stop. So that's why the bell rang with 3 seconds left since Orton could NOT win. And finally, as has been mentioned already, there is NO REMATCH CLAUSE. Uhm, the very first Iron Man Match in WWF history ended during a submission and Hart broke the Sharpshooter because the clock ran out. That has always been the rule... If the clock runs out, the match is restarted.

Orton is suppose to be a weak, chicken s***, it wouldn't make sense for him to hold on to the WWE Universe. I get that, but its still silly to me. If he is that much of a wuss he shouldn't be winning titles anyway. You know what I mean? He can be a coward but he shouldn't be portrayed as jobber. Jobbers do things like tap out ASAP when they could hold on a few seconds.

So didn't watch it, but I was following up in the thread. People mentioned some sort of awesome RKO...description please? Cena went for the Attitude Adjustment and while he flipped him over Orton grabbed his head for the RKO Also awesome was the RKO-5 Knuckle Shuffle reversal I have been waiting for both of these spots for SO long. Especially an RKO while being FUed.

I hope nobody was honestly expecting Orton to win. I mean, Cena going to Smackdown just wasn't gonna happen. More of a chance of HBK going there than that.

I'd rather lick a hyenas nutsack, then chew my own nipples off, then listen to an N-Dubz album than ever see Booker on my screen again. He should be blackballed from the business. Indeed, setting up charities for local youth in Texas, paying for Sherri Martel's tombstone; such acts are clearly outweighed by the one alleged power play he pulled in TNA. Hey, if we find any more political behavior on his part, maybe we can put him on trial for it too. Don't want that kind of monster walking the streets now do we? Have they caught that despicable Shawn Michaels yet? What about Triple H? Was Hogan finally drawn and quartered? I haven't heard from him in awhile. I dont feel safe in my bed at night knowing such evil men walk the earth. Everytime I close my eyes I imagine Triple H letting me beat him with a rollup only to stand up with a smile on his face, laughing and looking surprised.

Sabu was awesome. Yes, he was a spot wrestler and blah blah etc. etc. but not every single wrestler needs to be a technical marvel. He was good at entertaining the crowd and that is all that really matters.

People forget that Danielson spent a good year in Memphis in 2000-01 for WWE . The "WWE Style" hasn't change that much... Danielson isn't going to spend much time in Florida if any. He'll probably just show up on whatever brand within the next few months and the internet will explode with shock that he didn't even go to FCW. Eh, I really doubt that. He will be in FCW for at least a little while. It seems like the only guys who ever skip developmental are either tenured TNA guys [Monty Brown, Chris Harris] or guys who have worked WWE before like R. Truth or Christian.

Yeah, Im glad they never gave those Rocky Maivia, Ringmaster, and Hunter Hearst Helmsley guys anything to do. Who would have ever taken any of those guys seriously as main eventers? How would some guy pretending to be a rich snob doing curtsies in the ring ever improve the product or draw any money? Were those guys lazying it up for five years too? People actually believing that CARLITO has potential to be a major player is hilarious. There's a difference between The Rock and Carlito. Shocking, I know. It isn't 2006 anymore. Its been quite awhile since Carlito was being lazy in the ring. I am sure you watched the tag matches he had with his brother, so you would very obviously know that. Then again, maybe you just really dislike Carlito and are thus clinging to an argument that ceased being relevant long ago. If Carlito is such a lazy worker with no future perhaps WWE should have never begged him to sign a new contract. A lot of people have potential to be main players. MVP sucked when he debuted but now hes great. There is another example. It took him awhile to get there didn't it...and he isn't even there yet because WWE Creative barely ever give him anything to do or any actual angles. Kinda like the guy we are talking about in this thread! I am not comparing Carlito and the Rock. I am comparing their situations, as well as the situations of other guys who looked like they would never get anywhere for years and suddenly struck upon a hot character and angle. Austin did it, Kane did it, Jeff Hardy, HBK, Kevin Nash as well. Its quite certainly possible with Carlito. You cant make gold out of s***, though...and that is what Carlito has been given lately. I guess since you personally dislike him though, it doesn't matter much to you. Fair play, but dont pretend like giving a midcarder a storyline to work with and some TV time isn't a good idea. Its something sorely lacking in WWE today and the reason they have a hard time making new stars: they dont give the fans any reasons to care or particularly think a guy is special. Just have the announcers sell the fact that he is improving in the ring, a great athlete, or won some wrestling matches at some college somewhere.

Going back on Topic, it is far too early to judge Escobar, but i will admit what I've seen so far hasn't impressed me. But as long as he's aligned with the greatest natural heat getter in the business today, he'll last. If he keeps putting on crap performances in the ring, I doubt he will. Plus only Vickie is getting heat thus far. The crowd is dead when she isn't shrieking on the mic for him.

LITTLE MAN! Talk about overacting.
Angles WOO there sounded like an animal being tortured. I also find it hilarious that Awesome is tapping for reason in particular. Thats a wrestling conceit that always makes me laugh.

So I'm the only person who thought Hunter/Orton LMS was MOTY? No offense man, but how could you think that was MOTY compared to stuff like HBK vs. Taker?

I went to a WCW house show at Bryce Jordan Center in like early 2000 I think (it was during the nWo silver with Bret still in it as he ME'ed against Sid). Despite pretty good publicity, they didn't even sell out the front four rows ringside. I have no idea how many people that was, but it had to be god awful. They ended up letting in college kid's into the lower tier for free. Everry WWE show in that time frame sold out from '98 to '01 (when I went) They did a Thunder in '98 (I didn't go to sadly) that my friends said wasn't a sell out but was way better attendance wise as the lower tier was full and some of the upper. Granted, this was State College PA, which falls into McMahon's "Triangle" but still. They had to lose a ton of cash and it was embarrassing they couldn't even get many college kids in there, even after they announced free tickets. I mean it was winter, college was in and there wasn't any snow on the roads. ...Wiki says it seats 15,261. They might've sold 261 tickets. I know that during WCWs late era they were giving away more tickets for free than they were actually selling for most events.

When it comes down to it, "creative" never has anything for anybody. They suck. Any of us could come up with a dozen stoylines for any character on Raw, any day of the week. They keep future endeavoring workers when they should've fired all of creative about 4 years ago. When is Vince going to realize they are the only reason Raw has been sucking for as long as it has? Yes, we could come up with a million lame storylines. So what exactly is your argument here? Carlito isn't currently a main event talent so WWE should just say screw it and not give him anything to do? Perhaps he could be built into a main event level talent with the right booking and angles behind him. When John Cena or Deacon Batista were first around you could have said this same sentence. Hell, when Batista was just Evolutions muscle, before his big push, most people didn't like him nor see any huge future main event run or compelling angles or character for him. Thinking like that is just backwards as hell. Main Eventers dont just instantly happen. Its called character development, growth, and establishing a guy as someone to take notice of. You build them from the ground up. You nuture them and watch them grow. You dont just add water and get an instant Batista or CM Punk. Look at me, I'm ghost writing. Giving Carlito "something to do" isn't going to make the product better.

Can't believe I'm the first person to say Triple H vs Cactus Jack, RR2000. Damn it, I was just coming here to add this one! You're right, that is the match that made Triple H The Game. Triple H was really difficult to take seriously as Champion prior to this match. But Foley was in top form and really went out his way to put Triple H on the map, and Triple H also took as well as he gave and the fans saw him as a true, legitimate badass and worthy of carrying the title belt. The fact that Triple H could hang his hat on the fact that he retired Foley a month later was just icing on the cake. The Street Fight was easily a match of the year candidate in 2000 and may actually be THE match of the year of 2000. When you think of all the guys Foley has made, its pretty crazy. He was the first real one on one match the Kane character had, at Survivor Series. A lot of people seem to forget about this match but I never did, and Foley really put Kane over as indestructable. This was a match that made people think Kane could never be beaten. His feuds with Orton and HHH and how he put both these guys over are well documented. He was also the first feud Rock had as a heel World Champ and IMO the classic matches they had really put the Rock over as a legit champ. Then there is his match with Edge at Mania which helped to springboard Edge into main event credibility [Ric Flair helped here too but Mania is much more important than your average RAW].

He definitely needs a new look.
I dont get how a guy who is supposed to be all about respect, integrity for the sport, and also is supposed to be the best wrestler since the Rock and Austin would come out fighting in jeans and sneakers, either.
That look worked for a misfit character like Raven or back when Cena was a rapping heel, but it makes no sense now. Austin was supposed to be a loose cannon rebel and HE wore proper tights.

I went to a lot of ECW house shows and there were plenty of kids in the crowd.
In fact, at one house show after New Jack cleaned house he brought a little girl [she couldnt have been older than 7] into the ring and danced with her to his theme song. Haha!
Also, my little sister was around six at the time and she always watched ECW with me. Her faves were RVD, Al Snow [she loved the mannequin head gimmick], Sabu, and Taz.
This was in 1998, by the way.
Of course now I expect someone who knows crap all about the original ECW come in here and say only bitter old smarks who wanted to see intense violence liked ECW. Not true, my friends.

All right. I watched the Hardy match and the tag qualifier on the last SD as well.
This guy SUCKS. Four years in developmental and he looks like the greenest jobber ever in there. He looked terrible next to pros like JTG and Ziggler. If this guy doesn't improve quick he needs to be pushed right back down the card.
A shame guys like Carlito and Charlie Haas cant get any TV time and this joke gets a win over Matt Hardy and a few minutes each week to embarrass himself.
