I think a case could easily be made for Deuce 'n Domino. Cody at least benefitted from his run with Holly. Somewhat related: this wouldn't be a very popular IWC answer, but Londrick. Held the titles for a very long time but never really did anything of note nor did the fans care and both got released. Most likely neither will ever return to WWE due to their attitudes and I would think most fans forgot about them entirely. At least Zack Ryder is getting a singles push now.

Last time he truly put anyone over big was 2005 if that tells you anything...and I was surprised and shocked then.

The whole thing reminds me of a spiel my friend has about how sports fans at this point are merely cheering for graphic designers. [logo, tshirt and uniform makers]

How could anyone make jokes about this? Even if you believe it MAY not be true for whatever reason, and even if you don't like Hulk (I personally am not his biggest fan), but for anyone who has never dealt with depression......it's serious stuff. And the last two paragraphs clearly scream he needs help more than ridicule. I feel bad for the guy, but the fact that all he has been doing for what, the past year or so is talking about how depressed he is, doing interviews and stories about it, etc. Hogan is the kind of guy that tries to parlay everything he does for attention and press to translate that into money. So excuse me if a lot of his stories seem pretty outrageous and pleas for attention. If he is really in that bad of a state he needs to get help. A guy like Lex Luger had his entire life destroyed and his health fail him. However, he actually went out and did something about it to get his life back on track instead of doing tons of interviews whining about it. Hogan needs to take a page from him instead of trying to get attention all the time. Thats just how I feel. I have been in this position before so I know how Hogan feels, but its hard to feel bad for him when he still has tons of money and the means to help himself. Luger didnt even have that.

Retirement is a pseudonym for TNA nowadays. It certainly is in WWE land! Concerning how after they left WWE Jeff Hardy and Christian apparently went on a mysterious hiatus from wrestling.

Well the last few lines in that article makes me think this won't end well. I saw that too. Although, it probably would have been worse if she suggested possibly running a fast food business that served other kinds of sandwiches other than hamburgers. That would have turned this into a nuclear holocaust. Or perhaps a horse farm combined with a restaurant specializing in down home open faced sandwiches. With a charming girl next door vibe in decor.

10 pages in 6 hours Over/Under? 10 pages just for this one quote alone: "I've always wanted to run my horse farm. So I'd definitely like to have a background to understand that," she said, referring to her lifelong passion for horses." I would make a joke but I think Mickie already did it for me there. Not much to add.

That is definitely good on her for preparing. I wish more wrestlers had that kind of foresight.

Was the gun an 800 pound turret mounted minigun?
Were there 110,000 people in the room watching?

I have never seen much charisma in Vickie. It was really evident during her RAW run, where there was no editing or taping to make her look better.
Pretty much anyone can go out there and say EXCUUUUUSE ME!!!!! in a grating, annoying voice like a 1st grade teacher from hell.
I give Vickie credit for making the most of what she has, and WWE for being smart enough to shove her down the fans throats for extra annoyance. Yes, heat is heat. I am tired of hearing how she has more charisma than any other WWE heel and all that nonsense, though.
Jericho, Miz, Punk, there are some examples of heels with charisma.

Better TNA than WWE anyway. I highly doubt WWE would use either of them well.
I mean, look at Bourne. He was getting pretty over on ECW and as soon as WWE realized he was getting hot they sent him to RAW and he became a jobber.
They may make more money in WWE but I would imagine Jimmy Wang Yang makes less than A.J. Styles. If they end up as jobbers it isnt going to do much for their careers. In the end its up to them though...but if anything, a successful run in TNA would only raise their stock for a WWE run from where it is now.

Cena jumping back up after he got beat and hit with 3 Pedigrees made me shake my head...and I'm not even that big of an anti-Cena guy here on the boards. At this point the only time Cena remembers how to sell is when he gets legit injured. I cant even watch the mans matches anymore. I dont even care if he goes over both rosters at the same time, then buries the ECW roster in an after match promo. AT LEAST ACT SLIGHTLY HURT YOU DOUCHE. Graaaaah. As you can tell, this is a sore spot with me.

Should I just skip DOR 1 and get the 2nd one? Or get both? I loved both games, but I enjoyed the new moves, gameplay tweaks, and the Last Man Standing Match in DOR 2. All I am going to say is, Fatal Four Way Last Man Standing with Elimination Rules. Also, DOR 2s roster was a lot better.

Asuming it's true (which I think is not), who did it and what the hell was the point? Eh everyone on these boards [for the most part] were crying for Angles head back in September and he ended up being innocent. Thats sorta, you know, the cornerstone of the judicial system. Anyway, if this is true its probably either some sort of disgruntled, crazy fan or some unknown guy Hardy pissed off. Doubt it would be anyone relevant to wrestling. You would be surprised what lengths some people will go to when they feel wronged. I have experienced that firsthand.

She is ugly and annoying. Its pretty simple psychology.
In real life, nobody wants to be around an ugly annoying bitch. They definitely do not want to see one on their TV screen.
Think about it...
Jericho: Puts on good matches, despite his current personality. Plus he is basically a living legend at this point. Some of the crowd is going to appreciate him.
Edge: Puts on good matches, plus has a cool rock star personality.
Orton: Cool character, puts on good matches, attractive to ladies.
CM Punk: Attractive to ladies, puts on good matches, is kinda preachy and annoying but backs up what he says and most of the time is at least partially right.
That covers the main heels. They all have some redeeming qualities and are entertaining in different ways. More like a Darth Vader or a Boba Fett. You love to hate them but cannot help but notice how cool they are.
Vickie is more like the Emperor. She isn't cool. She is cowardly and annoying. She is ugly and has a terrible voice. She doesn't wrestle or provide much entertainment value, if any at all. Its pretty easy to hate someone like that.

Thanks. Yes, I know when they used them and I also recalled Christian's Finisher was called the Impaler once, but again, I just thought switchting the names would make sense for the two finishers. I actually think that the Impaler's the thing that's been traded, since I believe before Christian popped up Gangrel's DDT was called that. Yeah. Gangrel used an Implant DDT called either the Impaler or the Impaler DDT. After Christian debuted and started using his finisher they just started calling Gangrels move an Implant DDT [which is what it technically was].Then they called Christians move the Impaler.
Sometime during the E and C transition into the surfer dude gimmick they changed the name to the Unprettier.
Funny side note: In OVW and right before Cena started using the FU during his Lesnar feud, he used that move he now uses to set up the 5KS [although he did it a lot less lazy back then] as a finisher and called it the Killswitch!

I have a question. How come when someone like Paul Heyman makes "inside jokes" like "Matt Freakin' Hardy" or "Triple H didn't want to work on Tuesday's" during "ECW's One Night Stand" 2005, people overwhelming claimed that it was the "GREATEST THING EVER", but when Triple H makes a joke about "Great Khali being a bad wrestler" or implying that the majority of the audience has no idea who Eric Escobar is, he's called the "WORST PERSON EVER" and a "BIG MEANIE" for "burying" someone? GOTTA LOVE THE HYPOCRISY IF THE IWC!!! I gotta say I agree with you there. Although the big difference here, you must understand, is that Edge and JBL were able, allowed to, and DID fire right back at Heyman then...it wasn't all one sided. I can see peoples point where with HHH he generally just makes these jokes at the expense of the other guy, leaving him looking stupid. I wouldn't mind a little back and forth. Still, I have enjoyed what I have seen of DX this go round, which admittedly hasn't been a lot because I barely watch WWE these days and when I do its generally the younger guys clips and matches. They do seem infinitely more tolerable, funny, and nuanced compared to all that awful Vince LOVES COCKS!!! and poo flinging stuff they were doing in 2006.
