In all honesty I don't know how anyone could objectively say Bret is creepier than Lawler.
Bret's sense of humor is so dry that it goes over a lot of people's heads, and even though he's obviously had more than his share of past infidelities it isn't even a blip on the radar compared to a 60-something year old Botoxed guy that wears t-shirts that look like they were designed for people 40 years younger, who coincidentally are the same age as the women he can't seem to contain himself around.
I found Lawler's shrill squealing over "dur-hur puppeez dur-hur" off-putting as a fan and am thankful he's at least dialed it down somewhat since the product became PG. His being a pervert definitely didn't come off as a gimmick or attempts at deadpan humor.

And conversely, Sports-Entertainment is never used outside of WWE's corporate vernacular.

I remember Sunny using it as a finisher in WCW.
If her version didn't piss him off nothing should.

Any outcome of any Ultimate Warrior match post-WM6.
It was just too obvious he would never be booked to look vulnerable or in any risk to lose clean to anyone. Unlike Hogan, I never found myself in doubt that he'd eventually no-sell everything and we'd be back to his rambling promos about who-knows-what.

"Bret's jerkin', Maggle" "Oh my!" The fact that you didn't give JBL an exclamation point at the end of his sentence gives it a "this is incredibly serious unexpected tragedy" tone, which makes it 100 times more hilarious to imagine hearing him say.

Thats not how i saw it portrayed actually. They did have DDP putting over the matches and the feud after all. DDP definitely put over the fued and matches, but overall everyone else didn't have anything great to say about Savage's WCW run(including the DDP fued), which actually included quite a few good matches and really proved Vince was wrong. Savage had very good matches with Sting, Flair and many others. He probably Hogan's best match out of him in WCW. It was more about Savage's real life fued with Hogan and the age of him and the other WCW stars. And now WWE's old farts are even OLDER than the ones they buried WCW for having back in the day. Over time, WWE has become everything they mocked WCW for. Remember how Goldberg was buried by the announcers and they brought out Gillberg to really lower the bar? Well, they brought out a guy in Reigns with considerably less talent and fewer moves and gave him an even more accelerated push into the main event of their biggest PPV of the year. Good Ole JR is totally on board with this hoss, though!

I'm just glad she's changing up her character a little. She's been doing the dancing cheerleader act since 2011.

Sting would've been a perfect choice!
But you know what happens when you combine HHH and high-profile WCW guys...

Naomi is a great athlete and deserves this push I just wish she had a better finisher than a F***ing ASS ATTACK... Given her obvious similarities to Molly Holly I think she could try tossing out the Molly Go Round now and then. It's a lot more impressive and believable as a finisher.

So Naomi turns heel by attacking Paige? All we need now is for Paige to come out in a couple weeks and say Naomi did it because she has a big ass.

This probably doesn't count, but there was a guy in the promotional build-up to Beyond the Mat who was wearing sunglasses and was clearly meant to represent the Rock, and it so obviously wasn't it cracked me up. I'm not sure if it was a poster or VHS cover, but it was hysterical.

I just watched the DDP debut on Raw. What a waste of a guy who was once a top 3 face in WCW and arguably a top 5-6 during the Monday Night Wars.
And Good Ole JR just buries him and no-sells his popularity and history the minute he unmasks. Piss off, you John Wayne-loving, hypocritical carny!

Man, I wish his WWE run had just been a little longer. That Douchetista was just hitting the spot for me. At least, I wish he came out as Bluetista with the vest and sunglasses. Someone should get Batista to sign one of those on its bald spot.

The Great Khali was World Heavyweight champion once. The. Great. Khali. Brodus Clay could have been World Heavyweight champion easily. If you put 100 people in a room with both Khali and Clay in it, and later asked them which of the two looked more credible as an intimidating champion, I'd be shocked if 5 people or more went with Clay. Khali looked like he could crush a pool ball with his bare hands. Clay looked like a guy that sat around and gorged on Cheetos and Mountain Dew.

He was goofy fun but I just couldn't picture him as the main champion of a promotion. In addition to having one of the worst physiques in history the guy just didn't seem skilled at all. Guilty pleasure comic relief with occasional mean streak was his niche but he wasn't anywhere near a Dusty Rhodes in any way.

And nothing of value would have been lost. None of those guys were anything special with the exception of Ice Train, who I'll always argue was far better than Ahmed ever was even if he didn't have the same intensity. Ice Train was smooth. That he was...but M.I.?

That one used by Big John Studd during his very brief face run at the end of his career. I think it debuted in his Rumble win. I always loved it, very overlooked. Hated it when they recycled it for Hacksaw and his "Hoooooo!" voice overs.
