It'd be super depressing if the afterlife was just floating around in old, dark houses.
Live for 90 years, be good to everyone around you, work hard every day..... be rewarded with decades of knocking stuff off shelves and MAYBE getting to show up in a photograph.

No. No, they're not. Ever notice how everyone that has seen a ghost or some sort of paranormal activity always seems to have several stories? These people are either compulsive liars or really gullible IMO. I have one ghost story. ONE. So are you saying I'm gullible or a liar? I don't give a shit if anyone believed me or not, but I'll never forget what happened. Truly f***ed up. So what happened?

Considering I currently live in a house with at least one male and one female spirit, I'm going to say yes. When I was a kid, I visited this house (my aunt's) on occasion, and would hear and feel things. When I moved to California, nada, nothing, for 21 years. Now I moved back here and there it is again, noises, voices when no one's home. They're real. Check if you have a CO2 leak, that's been linked to most "ghost" activity. It can cause auditory and visual hallucinations.

I'm only a DC fan, but based on the new 52 timeline, I think something like this works:
Superman - 29. Went to Metropolish right out of college, which was a year prior to the Justice League's first adventure, which happened 5 years ago.
Batman - 29. I think these 2 have always been paired as being the same age. Fits with Zero Year, too - Bruce starts being Batman (with purple gloves!) around the same time Superman hits Metropolis, and is seen as a young college punk by a lot of people.
Hal Jordan GL - 32. Always seemed a few years older than Bats and Supes, especially given his Air Force experience.
John Stewart GL - 35. Total spitballing here based off the fact that he's been military and worked in the private sector.
Flash - 30. About the same as Supes and Bats, became Flash ~5 years ago while a new lab tech just out of school.
Aquaman - 32. Spitballing again based off the 5 years ago Justice League formation.
Those seem like good fits in relation to each other and how they're portrayed. Batman's a good example - in the new 52 he's crazy competent but still can make mistakes, whereas Bats ~10 years ago never screwed up anything and seemed a very old ~35 or so.

Although I applaud Nikki for having the honesty to name her finisher the Rack Attack, I gotta go Brie. She seems to understand match psychology better than Nikki.

"Christian, joo know Edge isn't up dere *points to heaven*. Haha, no perro.... he's over dere *points to 3rd row in the arena, where Edge is eating an ice cream sandwich*."
Christian then grabs a steel chair and starts to beat down Del Rio for this insult. The camera keeps randomly cutting back to Edge eating that ice cream sandwich. After the beating Christian grabs the mic:
"Well you know something? Ricardo's not up there either.... he's over there *points to Spanish announce table*"
Del Rio then recovers instantly and locks in the armbreaker - which he refuses to break.
Repeat this exact segment for 3 weeks (including one week where Edge is eating a burrito instead of an ice cream sandwich, and one time where Ricardo's wearing a shirt that says "Where's the Beef?").
PPV match happens - Christian wins thanks to a low blow the ref doesn't see. Christian then grabs a mic and says "I didn't do this for Edge *camera cuts to Edge, now eating a hot dog*, I didn't do it for Ricard *cut to Ricardo, who's actually translating this speech into Spanish as Christian speaks*... I did it..... FOR THE ROCK. "
New Nation forms. Boom bing pow.

They're both a LOT better. Anyone listen to Jericho's podcast with Natalya? Apparently both Bella twins, at the urging of Cena and Bryan, have been training pretty much constantly and watching old matches to come up with match ideas. It seems to be working.

Pittsburgh Street Fight. Steel chairs placed around the ring to save parking spots for fans, a food cart serving salads and sandwiches with french fries on them, and the most dangerous part? The whole floors real slippy so yinz guys better be careful.

Shortest - 10 minutes. Was advertised as a marketing position. I got to the location (a tiny little office building in an industrial park) and was asked to go meet someone at Home Depot because "You'll be setting up some display pallets over there." Realized it was a scam and got outta there right away.
Longest - 7 hours (yes, really). Interviewed years ago at Heinz. They sent over an itinerary - there at 8 am to meet HR, then a personality test at 9 am, then meeting 2 managers from 10 to noon. Then a lunch meeting with some other guy from noon to 1. Then HR again from 1 to 2. Was a nightmare and I'm sure it scared off a bunch of other people interviewing, but I got the job eventually.

Lot of speculation in a couple different threads, so I thought this might be a nice scientific study.
Will Bryan beat HHH? And if so, how will it happen?
I see HHH tapping out in the middle of the ring, myself.

18 seconds or less. HHH gets in ring, Stephanie hops up to kiss him. Bryan instantly hits the Knee Plus for the win.
Let's Bryan rest up for the main event, shows that HHH was completely outclassed, AND is a funny callback.

HHH screws Bryan out of the title multiple times.
Daniel Bryan wants title.
Must remove HHH from equation.
Solution: knock out HHH.

Is their even a viable exercise for a 600lb woman Walking if she can tolerate it. If not, water aerobics, hand cycles, some light weight lifting. If someone is that sedentary, anything that gets them started is good, and you just go from there. There's a documentary on Netflix called "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" which shows this. There's a truck driver who weighs close to 500 lbs. To get in shape he cuts out all fast food, goes on a liquid diet for 60 days, and works out. When he starts - he can only walk for 5 minutes at a time and swim. By the end of a year he was down to like 250 lbs. The difference between him and this woman? Motivation.

They've always liked him (dude has amazing work ethic, doesn't drink or do drugs, and doesn't really get injured - what's not to like in an employee?) but I think they saw him as more of a upper midcard / lower main event guy, at least for a while.
You're right that NXT for a while was basically "The Daniel Bryan show - starring some other guys". We'll never know how the Nexus was originally booked with Bryan as a member, but I assume they had him picked out to go face early and tackle Miz for the US title (which he did really quickly anyway).
I think it finally clicked during Team Hell No. Daniel Bryan and Kane were getting better reactions than 90% of the roster and were having amazing matches pretty much every single night. Then they started getting MORE popular, to the point where they just kind of naturally turned face and starting battling heels. From then on? They've realized they have someone who's immune to bad booking and are going to milk his big moment for all it's worth.
