I didn't realize Jim Neidhart was still active. I'm going to love this feud!

Welcome back to the Tournament to End All Tournaments! What a matchup! Samus Aran seemed to jump off to a lead, but then The Warriors mounted a comeback, but it wasn't quite enough as Aran advances with a five to four victory! I guess those bopppers didn't quite make it back to Coney this time. Help me find out who the most awesome/badass character/person of all time is! How would one accomplish such a task? Why by pitting every awesome and/or badass person/character/historical figure in a 512-person bracket style tournament that leaves only one person standing in the end. Who will it be? You will decide. There is no voting criteria. You can vote for a participant based on whatever you please. If you feel that person would be the victor in a fist fight, or if you think they're more badass, more epic, have better hair, or if you just like one better than the other. It's completely up to you, the voter. I want people to have fun with this, and perhaps imagine the two participants squaring off face to face. Today we our honored by the presence of a man who had a voice that can make a wolverine purr, and suits so fine they make Frank Sinatra look like a hobo. That's right, it's Ron Burgundy making his TEAT debut, as he takes on former footballer turned action movie tough guy, Vinnie Jones. Jones is famous for many intimidating roles such as Sphinx from Gone in 60 Seconds, and Bullet-tooth Tony from Snatch. His strong jaw and cold eyes provide quite the menacing visage, but is it enough to topple the legendary Ron Burgundy? Ron Burgundy.VS. Vinnie Jones--- Results: Tom Hanks(5) def. Welcome back to the Tournament to End All Tournaments! The model T-800 Terminator advances! I really thought Achilles would put up a better fight, but he got thoroughly trounced in this encounter. Better luck next time, demigod. One of the many Arnold characters makes it to the next round. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see two Arnolds face off. Help me find out who the most awesome/badass character/person of all time is! How would one accomplish such a task? Today we have yet another video game character making an appearance, as the female heroine of the Metroid series, Samus Aran, takes on that gang of ruffians from Coney Island, The Warriors, of the movie of the same name. Samus Aran rolled her way into our hearts on the fabled Nintendo Entertainment System, and has lived on fight on the Nintendo Wii and most likely future consoles as well. The Warriors are also technically video game characters, but most of us know them better from the one shot movie from 1979, where they had to fight their way from a gang meeting gone bad back to their home turf of Coney Island. They don't take no mess, so we'll see how they stack up to the Metroid warrior Samus Aran. Samus Aran.VS. The Warriors--- Results: Tom Hanks(5) def. Van Helsing(3) -- Burt Reynolds(6) def. Welcome back to the Tournament to End All Tournaments! Ok, I know I said I don't do ties, but I never thought that two combatants would tie TWICE. I think the tournament is trying to tell me something. So, I'm going to throw both participants back into the pool to be randomly matched up with someone else. That way my tournament doesn't get screwed up with odd numbers, and hopefully helps determine the fates of Vince Lombardi and MacGyver. Obviously the battle between these two is too epic to determine, and I fear the continued pursuit of finding a victor will cause severe damage to the Universe. Let's move on. It's completely up to you, the voter. I want people to have fun with this, and perhaps imagine the two participants squaring off face to face. This evening we have our second appearance by an Arnold Schwarzeneggar character, as the T-800 from the Terminator franchise, takes on Greek folk hero, Achilles! The T-800, of course, is a futuristic cybernetic organism sent back in time to assassinate and/or protect certain people, more specifically members of the Connor family. It would seem, given the track record of the T-800, it's function is far more suited to protection as it successfully protected John Connor twice, but failed to eliminate Sarah. Anyway, he takes on fabled Greek hero, Achilles, who rose to fame through the Illiad and Odyssey novels written by Homer. Achilles happens to be a Demigod, born of a goddess who dipped him in the river Styx as a baby to make him invulnerable. However, she held him by his heel, which was ultimately his downfall in the Trojan War. Despite the fact that he was defeated, his legend lives on to this day, and he even has a body part named after him. Pretty sweet. Achilles.VS. Terminator T-800--- Results: Tom Hanks(5) def. Welcome back to the Tournament to End All Tournaments! Sorry for the re-post, but I cannot move on until a winner is declared. Luckily, the patient ones of you stuck around to make it happen, and I appreciate it. Guile advances with a narrow margin of six to five total votes. We can now move forward with todays wacky match! Help me find out who the most awesome/badass character/person of all time is! How would one accomplish such a task? Today we have our first appearance by a footbal coach, and perhaps the only appearance by a coach period. I think most would agree that if I did pick a coach, it would be one of the most famous faces in football history. The man has the freakin' Super Bowl trohpy named after him for crying out loud. Of course, the man I'm speaking of is Vince Lombardi. The man he's taking on? Why the title character of his own show, the most resourceful man in fiction, MacGyver. I'll bet the lot of you didn't know his first name was Angus. But what you all probably know is his ability to turn two q-tips and a roll of duct tape into a nucelar device. People that aren't into wrestling anymore still reminisce about Goldberg, the jackhammer, and the streak.
Will people talk about "you can't see me", the attitude adjustment, and "JBL is poopy" ten years after Cena retires?
I doubt it.

Welcome back to the Tournament to End All Tournaments! Tommy Lee Jones advances over the Snoop Doggy Dogg! I don't much more to add to that other than I'm happy that others share my appreciation of Tommy Lee Jones. Today we step back into the epic. This evening we once again step into the realm of video games and comic book characters as Street Fighter hero Guile takes on vampire hunter Blade! Oddly enough, both characters have made their appearance on the silver screen. Although I'm sure most would agree we like to forget Guile's venture into film forever. Other than that black mark, Guile is a beloved fighting game character with one of the most famous stage themes in all of video games. Blade could possibly be the most badass vampire hunter ever, as he is half-vampire himself and must deal with the hunger for blood as the same creatures he is hunting. However, that is his only negative vampiric feature, as he is capable of going out in sunlight and shares all the physical attributes as well. This should be a good one. Guile.VS. Blade--- Results: Tom Hanks(5) def. Van Helsing(3) -- Burt Reynolds(6) def. Gordon Freeman(1) -- Richard Petty(4) def. Ron Jeremy(3) -- Hulk Hogan(8) def. Mace Windu(3) -- Freddie Mercury(2) def. I'd like to think gone. He's washed up and literally only has three moves in his arsenal. He's not Big Daddy Cool anymore, and no one cares.

I'm really questioning the intelligence of whoever thought it was a good idea to bring in a 50+ year old wrestler who's as immobile as Jabba the Hutt to feud with a 40+ year old wrestler who is essentially on a Legends contract now with his frequency in the ring, and then have their first match be a LADDER match where spots including the ladder are expected, as well as a gimmick sledgehammer thrown in.
Nash is getting zero response save the few fans that remember he used to be popular over a decade ago. This stinks to high heaven of HHH bringing one of "his boys" in. No one gives a damn.

Welcome back to the Tournament to End All Tournaments! Tommy Lee Jones advances over the Snoop Doggy Dogg! I don't much more to add to that other than I'm happy that others share my appreciation of Tommy Lee Jones. Today we step back into the epic. Welcome back to the Tournament to End All Tournaments! Non-violence wins out as Dr. King advances! Somewhat of a tall order for Terry Funk, but that's sometimes how this tournament cookie crumbles. So, better luck next time, Funker. More insane matchups await, and this day is no exception. Help me find out who the most awesome/badass character/person of all time is! How would one accomplish such a task? Why by pitting every awesome and/or badass person/character/historical figure in a 512-person bracket style tournament that leaves only one person standing in the end. Who will it be? It's completely up to you, the voter. I want people to have fun with this, and perhaps imagine the two participants squaring off face to face. Today we have rap artist, actor, and pothead Snoop Dogg, also known as Snoop Doggy Dogg, taking on acclaimed actor who I personally feel doesn't get enough respect, Tommy Lee Jones. Snoop, of course, became famous at age 19, and has stayed on top as his career has evolved for nearly 20 years. He's gone from gangsta rapper accused of murder to a lovable icon in pop culture. Jones has been in countless films such as Coal Miner's Daughter, The Fugitive, Batman Forever, Men in Black, and No Country for Old Men. Despite a laundry list of movies, I rarely hear his name mentioned among great actors. I feel this is a discredit to his resume. Let's see if people agree with me. Snoop Dogg.VS. I think people are getting confused. This is most overpushed/underpushed since the Attitude era. If you seriously think Kaval, then okay, but I'm throwing you some funny looks.
Overpushed: HHH--always booked the winner, even when he loses. He's good enough in the ring to please the smarks, and is always the "cool" guy in any feud, so the casual crowd loves him as well. He's popular, no doubt, but he'll never be Hogan, Austin, Rock, or Flair. It just isn't in the cards, and it won't matter how often he's booked over people.
Underpushed: DDP--one of the top guys in WCW. Had name recognition and star power going into WWE, but for some reason was fed to 'Taker and then given a ridiculous gimmick that wouldn't get over if Austin was doing it. Why did they do this to him? They just should have let him be DDP and do his thing. This is one case where Vince couldn't let an idea from another company come in and overshadow his ideas, so he had to take control and completely put a new spin on it. I don't know if he set DDP up to fail, but he certainly didn't help him by basically hitting the reset button and killing any momentum he brought into the company.
