According to Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com, the Diamondbacks have acquired right-hander Armando Galarraga from the Tigers. Now, I can't look up who he got traded for, as I have class to go to, but I'm upset at this deal. Galarraga was one of our better pitchers last year, and his numbers didn't reflect it because our offense played horribly the second half of the season, which was when he mainly pitched. Didn't he end up getting sent down mid-season? And then DFA this off season? That's sad if he was one of the Tigers better pitchers.

Yeesh. I'm not saying this was the first one EVER. Give me a break! All I'm trying to say is that I understand where the counterpoint comes from, but it seems like these things are happening more and more often, as opposed to say, people adopting animals from the local shelter. I know tons of murders happen every day, I'm not ignorant and I don't appreciate you treating me like I am. Nobody is saying you're ignorant. Relax. Just that people shooting up a Wal-Mart is ratings. People adopting puppies isn't. And if you just happen to be noticing the trend of violence that's been around forever, then that's on you, not the world.

People with mental disabilities like bipolar disorder aren't nutjobs, btw. That's kind of offensive. She may be an awful human being and the relationship might have been horrible, but if she's clinically diagnosed with that and borderline personality disorder, it's pretty sucky to call her a nutjob. I didn't say they were. I said she was. If that offends you, you need to grow a thicker skin, quite frankly. Who are you to judge what someone else finds offensive or not? And by the way, you said: "She's a nutjob, and her particular brand of it (Bipolar + Borderline Personality) involves narcissistic, self-seeking, manipulative behavior." Which "her brand of it" with the it being labeled the mental disorder, as if everyone who has that issue is a nutjob.

What he said. 24 hour news cycle plus instantaneous communication around the world. If it bleeds, it leads, etc. Yeah, but it seems like the number of incidents ARE going up. It's your fault for not noticing stuff before. Things like shootings in public places aren't new at all. And that happen all the time, it's just a matter of how media oriented society is now with multiple news channels and the internet.

Wade Barrett sees an attractive woman at the bar, and starts making small talk with her. "Can I get you a beer?" he asks her. Sure she says, smiling seductively. Wade goes to the bar and brings her back a beer poured into a shot glass. The woman looks puzzled. "What is this?" she asks. Wade replies, "It's a small part...of an even bigger pitcher." Ha! Outstanding!

When a wrestler is trying to be all *~*sneaky*~* in the ring (like sneaking up on his dazed opponent) and the crowd starts screaming, etc, but of course the being-sneaked-up-on wrestler doesn't notice. Or like how every single guy ever fails to hear the crowd screaming when HBK was tuning up the band, and they'd still turn around and take SCM to the face. Here's an idea....DON'T TURN AROUND!

While it would be cool to see them at WM, I'm still of the opinion that Sting should never step foot in WWE. Same here. The very last part of me that was a fan of WCW as a kid and that hated the WWF with a passion would finally die. And I'd be sad.

You guys are making a nerdy topic (professional wrestling) even nerdier (Batman). Who wants to start talking about anime now just to really give it the nerd vibe? Don't you have some more Miz signs to make, Cole? Haha unlike Cole, I was just teasing.

True story: A guy got arrested at a KFC because his son (who didn't get a buffet meal) took a piece of chicken off the buffet line. Yes, that's right, KFC pressed charges against a guy because his kid stole a piece of chicken from the buffet.

Cody Rhodes vs. Rey Mysterio.
I'm dumbfounded at why the Smackdown books it's faces like heels.

I think it could have worked. Raven has always been really good in the mic, and at the time he was in the WWE, he was in good shape and could have held his own against the top guys back then without looking out of place.

Not like bus drivers are some hard to replace set of skilled workers. If they want to strike, I'd say "Screw them" and hire people who need jobs. Get them licensed and let them drive the buses. Income back into the city that is being unused right now without the transit system running.
