Reigns' newish gear ain't that great. The combats are super lame now. Agreed. The purple highlights are awful, and the pants look like something Jeff Hardy would wear. I mean that in the worst way.

I don't get this post. You either saw an opportunity to make a post with little effort or you genuinely don't know much about the Celts. The latter would be preferable... I think. I'm happy that this didn't break Drew's passion to perform. The internet has been praising his work for years and I'd love to see him really go for it at a top level on the indies. ROH really should get the guy over for a bit, even if Drew doesn't want to sign a contract, a match or two would be excellent. Well, the joke is that Sheamus is referred to as the Celtic Warrior in the WWE.

I have to vote the original DX Red by far. I just think it's aged a lot better than the rest of his attires.
Plus, I'm just not fond of black/green color schemes, so that might have something to do with it.

Unfortunately, Doug Walker doesn't really have a lot of comedic timing or writing ability, himself. Pretty much the only reviewers I like who do weird stuff and sketches are JonTron (who is excellent at it) and AVGN (who is REALLY hit or miss with it). That's just me, though. Yeah, JonTron's probably my favorite internet personality in general right now. JonTrong sucks though. I have no idea who you're talking about! I didn't misspell anything. That would be crazy. You're crazy.

IMO, a lot of reviewers may be playing Follow The Leader behind Doug Walker. The problem is that they don't have his comedic timing or writing ability, and even he's pretty hit-or-miss with his more "epic" reviews. Sure. Completely miss the point. It probably would've helped had you explained what the point was in your original post. Why was this album important? What was its cultural significance? Why should we care that it's 20 years old? Kickstart some conversation, you can't expect it to all just come to you.

I love it. It's over-the-top ridiculousness with a great premise. I love the way it's shot, I love the music, the lyrics, and just pretty much everything about it. Also, Sarah Brightman, Paul Sorvino, and Anthony Stewart Head are goddamn phenomenal. The lyrics and music are the worst parts of this wretched abomination. Large chunks of the lyrics are, literally, just regular (awful) dialog, except they sing it because... well, I don't know why. There is no attempt at rhyme or melody for long stretches of the movie, just pointless singing of dialog. It does nothing to enhance the film or the story. To the contrary, it hinders both for me because it makes the whole thing unbearably unlistenable and causes me to have no desire to attempt any sort of connection (or even comprhension) of the paper-thin story. As for the actual music... While it isn't as insultingly terrible as the lyrics, it is simply so generic that it feels like stock background music they turned up a little to accompany the melodyless vocals. These are all fair criticisms, as it isn't for everyone. As for all the dialogue being sung, however, that's because it's an opera, not a musical.

Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle from Summerslam 2001. A really good, even great match with an ending sequence so godawful it made the whole thing a waste of time. For those who haven't seen it, towards the end of the match, Austin kicks out of the Angle Slam, punches out Earl Hebner and keeps brawling with Angle. Austin kicks out of an Angle DDT, and then takes out the replacement ref. A third ref tries to run in and Austin takes him out also. Then a FOURTH ref runs in and DQs Austin for his previous assault of referees. The whole thing took several minutes and detracted heavily from what was otherwise an awesome match. Seriously? That's WCW levels of weird and stupid.

I remember two things about that run: 1) He beat Christian for the WHC three days after he won it, causing this board to meltdown 2) He once RKOed someone on Smackdown (I want to say Jack Swagger) and proceeded to jump literally a f***ing foot into the air in celebration What I remember most is how amazing his matches were. Orton's great in the ring and he's great as a face as long as he's not "the face of the faces". Also in 2012 he had some amazing matches with Bryan too. Agreed. Honestly, Bryan and Orton have AMAZING chemistry. Every time they get in the ring against each other, it's goddamn excellent.

So now it's the battle between the Russian xenophobe and the American xenophobe. I'm... Not sure if this is a positive development. I'm right there with you. I find the Real Americans gimmick very entertaining, but them being presented as someone we're supposed to cheer for, despite them seemingly not remorseful for their actions, makes me uncomfortable. It's mixed feelings though, because I am a huge Swagger mark, and hearing the fans chant for him was awesome.

Could we maybe not do the sexist bullshit? Considering this DOES actually seem to be a thread about her booking and wrestling ability.
I think she's missing any sort of measurable personality. I don't think that's her fault at all. They just haven't given her any mic time, or an angle, or...anything. She's just sort of there with the title winning matches.
She's quite good, now let her be interesting.

I dunno, none of those have ever been particularly creepy to me. The box is just horrifying.

I know this is pretty much blasphemy, but I think this movie is boring as shit. I love the way Gotham looks, but that's about it. I don't care for Nicholson's Joker at all. Keaton is a good Bruce/Batman, but he's bogged down by a boring story and an interpretation of the Joker that I just can't get behind.
I actually like Batman Returns a lot better, despite the fact that it's a clusterf*** that makes absolutely zero sense.

I've always liked them, we've been due for a new Road Warriors-esque team. I have no idea why they are disliked, is it because they're over 6ft? So tired of this argument. Like others have said, I'm not fond of them, but it has nothing to do with their size. I'm a big fan of Barrett, Ryback, Big E, Luke Harper, Lesnar, etc. It's just that I think they're pretty boring in the ring, and I'm tired of seeing them in nothing but squash matches. Also I think their gimmick, if you can call it that, is kind of lame. The Fall of Man is cool, though.

I was half expecting him to debut his new heel look of black trunks, kneepads, and short hair. I'd be okay with this. Please, no.

This needs to be a Command and Conquer Red Alert mod. I would literally never play anything else.
