The Attitude era became stale thats why. Week after week of table matches, hardcore bouts, and Rock serving the role of Cena, we became tired of it.
WWE had to tone things down again so we cared for the big "spots", and it has taken a few years to once again crave the "fresh" attitude era, which we havent been exposed to in awhile.

On Raw, it looks like we're heading towards Legacy dominating Raw. Now that Orton won the belt finally, it means that Priceless is going to win the unified tag team titles to cement them as up and coming stars rather than lackeys. From there it would be easy for a 4th member to try to impress Orton, and he can say "if you beat MVP for the belt, then you join us". The rest of the card is going to be filled out with endless video montages, skits, Santino, Cena VS Big Show, and any combination of 4-6 superstars in contention for the US title rotating matches to keep it interesting. Other than that, look for Raw to be dominated by Legacy, Batista, and the McMahons for awhile, probably until HBK and HHH return and likely reform DX for the 20th time to take on Legacy. For actual wrestling, I've been watching and really enjoying ECW. Smackdown isn't too shabby either on Friday nights. LOL I watch wrestling near everyday now! If you like ECW you should really give Superstars a try. Its basically the same format with bigger name guys. Oh I already do, great show.

I just want the WWE to get the Legacy stable done right. They got it right with Orton, now put the tag belts on Cody and Ted while a 4th member takes the US Title.
Then we can see the Hart Foundation reform, and feud with Legacy by the Royal Rumble next year.

I think it can still be done, and rather easily. First, unify all of the champions.
There are only 2 world belts to begin with because of WCW (and later WCW), and I think the time has come to merge the two championships and bring back the classic WWF style championship belt. This will become the flagship belt, restricted to only a few stars.
After the unification, we have the WWE title, IC title, Womens, Tag, and Cruiserweight. Adding another singles belt is needed, so we will add "TV Title" to the mix.
Raw will be a show deep in star power, focused on the main event chase. All major titles are to be defended on Raw, as it will give the champions more prime time TV exposure.
ECW can be a show focused on the TV title, and up and coming stars.
Superstars will focus on the title contenders
Smackdown is all about the IC title, as the IC title holder is guaranteed WWE title matches at No Mercy and Judgement Day.
It could work......

If Beth has a penis, I'm willing to take off those panties to find out.
Muscular girls get tha rep because they make alot of men insecure. I'd love for her to beat the hell out of me and then ride me till it erupts in her.

Not a chance on Raw. Aside from the fact that Orton, Batista, Cena, and HHH will always be ahead of him, the Big Show's pushes never last, and kind of falls into the Kane category of misused talent. His knockout punch gimmick is cool, but history says he could lose that gimmick overnight and fall in generic monster that bores the crowd category.

For some reason neither is being pushed all that well. Hopefully when Orton wins the belt we'll see them both do something. It would be fun to see Ted get the pin that wins Randy the title.

He was sent in a box to FCW never to be heard from again. When we actually did hear from him again we kind of wished we hadn't. Happens all the time.

If there isn't no stopping Shelton Benjamin, why can't he aim for a personality?

I remember looking back in the 90s for Ahmed Johnson to see if he played in the NFL. When I found nothing I figured it was part of a gimmick and I stopped liking him.

Just pretend that your work "drafted you to another show". Now instead of working 9am-5pm and seeing your family, let's say that your schedule was changed from Noon to 10pm and completely conflicted with important things in your life. It's easy to see where this is a raw deal for the talent.

I don't event think it was necessary to fire him, his gimmick could have been the clueless yet effective GM like Michael Scott in The Office, or his character could have been higher up businessman that is "too busy" to care to learn everyones name or past history. Live audiences only ate him alive because neither of the above was his character.
Put him on Smackdown or ECW, and he would probably get really over. The character is there, just make it happen.

If Angle leaves TNA, he would be best in a Ric Flair role while he was in Evolution. Angle comes back at the end of the year for one last crack at the title. He knows his health isn't what it once was, so he recruits a stable of his own to assist him in reaching the top. This stable will include "legit" superstars that had success in amateur wrestling or other venues.
The main recruit is Jack Swagger, who would benefit ENORMOUSLY under Angle's wing. The mid card guy would be Shelton Benjamin, and it would reunite them from the WGTT days.
The Swagger/Angle skits would be awesome

I've been a fan since Survivor Series 1991 when I was 9 years old. I've seen alot of the wrestling industry for better or for worse, Most of the time when something crappy happens, I can find humor in it since I tend to watch wrestling with fine herb.
What I don't like is the under developed mid-card and about a thrid of the wrestlers I end up changing the channel or making food/smoke runs. Doesn't mean I whine about it, but it amazes me how the current brand drops the ball on every opportunity presented to them.
It really suprises me that Orton didn't get the title, especially when he is clearly the future. The current feud should be HHH trying to win back his title by pinning any of the 3 Legacy members, and then having Shane betray him at Backlash to become Legacy's mouthpiece.
Then you have a character like Cena being booed by crowds, and then the WWE wonders why 12 Rounds is tanking. People don't want to see Cena beat people up, they want to see him get smacked around.
When the WWE drops the ball like this, it makes me think it's only a matter of time before their rivals close in and we start seeing WWE try again. I'll always watch because I grew up with it, but it makes me wonder how long they'l be around if they want to be an entertainment company, yet can't fully tell a story.

He'll put on a few good matches, and might even get a US Title run if he plays his cards right. Most likely, he'll job out and be placed in another tag team.

Teams were mindlessly split and half got re-united. Some good moves, but many pointless ones.
