Good old Daily Mail hyperbole. This story will more likely be completely forgotten about by tomorrow.

Very pleased with Garry Monk becoming the next Boro manager, I've always rated him as a good coach. All we need now is a quality keeper, a quality centre back, a couple of quality attacking midfielders and a quality striker and we'll be ok. Not asking for much am I?

Poor Sunderland, after their football team gets relegated and Newcastle get promoted...Newcastle go and steal their number one declaration spot as well

I'll never understand why he wasn't used more in 93/94.
They had lost virtually all of their golden period stars, business was down and they refused to use the one genuine megastar that they still had on the roster. I know they were pushing the whole "New Generation" thing, but you've got Randy freaking Savage on your team...use him!!!

Apparently it was going to be Hacksaw, Mooney & Sapphire doing the podcast, Unfortunately Duggan hasn't found Sapphire yet...but he's still looking for her She dead. You don't work as a bereavement counsellor do you?

Speaking of Manchester, it's great seeing Liam Gallagher performing in his home town. And possibly not drunk or coked up! Even if he never has a drink or does cocaine for the rest of his life, Liam will forever be intoxicated and coked up from his decades of usage!

Just watched Liam perform at the Manchester tribute concert. I swear, you'd have heard me marking out if Noel walked on stage for the guitar solo during 'Live Forever'!

I haven't been able to finish a lot of Bruce's recent shows... I dunno why. I've been struggling too. I'm not really interested in show reviews, but there seems to have been an increase in these episodes lately, I'm more interested in career reviews or periods of interest. Also the increase in advertisements has made the show increasingly difficult to enjoy.

Yeah, I don't think Beady Eye were going anywhere. It's funny how Liam accused Noel of making "beige music", if Noel's music was "beige", what on earth does that make Beady Eye's music? What does 'beige music' even mean? It's a slang term meaning bland or dull. Not two words that I've often associated with Noel's music!

And Liam's voice sounded fantastic during his live show in Manchester. Not quite back to the standard of the 1990s, but better than he has sounded in a long time. Indeed. With this and Andy Bell releasing new material with Ride again, breaking up might have been the best thing Beady Eye ever did. Yeah, I don't think Beady Eye were going anywhere. It's funny how Liam accused Noel of making "beige music", if Noel's music was "beige", what on earth does that make Beady Eye's music?

And the cycle will continue. Nothing will ever change, people will hashtag prayers, make heart gestures with their hands and say empty platitudes like "we will not be defeated" or "we will be strong"...and everything will get back to normal until the next incident shortly after

The Premier League has traded Boro, Sunderland and Hull for Brighton, Newcastle and Huddersfield. I'd say that's a pretty good trade. I would strongly argue against that statement

Finally, there was a turd in the urinal. A fitting metaphor for this show. Can you please send me a cheque for a new laptop, I literally spat out my drink all over the screen when I got to this part

Painfully dull to watch but I'm happy for Huddersfield. I've been to a couple of their games this season (I live relatively nearby) so they have become my 2nd team this season.
I like to think my added support got them over the line!
