Good on Anthony Taylor for sending Victor Moses off for a second booking for diving instead of giving him the pen. Worst part is, he had beaten the defender and got goal side of him inside the box. Why on earth did he even feel the need to dive?

I think Wrestlemania would play out very similarly if Punk had stayed. Nothing was stopping that Bryan momentum.
Punk would face Trips, albeit not opening the show. And Bryan would make Batista tap in the main event.
The only thing that could have possibly stopped Bryan from getting his moment is if the crowd didn't unanimously shit on Batista when he returned.

Smart decision, it'll take some time before people will feel safe going to a show at that arena. I don't wish to be argumentative, but I think you under-estimate how Brits react to this sort of thing. If it was practically possible to hold an event at the Manchester Arena the night after the terrorist attack, I guarantee that the arena would be full, and probably thousands more would turn up outside as an act of solidarity and defiance.

Kendrick, Apter, Ventura, X-Pac(am I missing someone?) in a 5hr special conspiracy theory chat. Someone make it happen. I seem to recall Kevin Nash saying that he suspects that Montreal was a work.

Zlatan smiling and posing next to the 'Stay and you can shag my wife' banner is the best thing I've seen all season Good to see he has picked up some good old fashioned British slang since his arrival in Manchester.

Go for it! I don't watch any of the current WWE product and I think it's good value for money. If you're a fan of the current product it's unbelievable value purely for the two PPVs a month that you get. Thanks for the recommendation there are a few things that I'd like to watch on the WWE network. Like the various documentaries that WWE has done, but I've not seen any of the WWE takeover shows that people keep talking about. So I'd like to finally be able to experience a takeover show at some point. I think TBA is a better name for a ppv than "great balls of fire". I have no problem with the name in general, but it's a terrible name for a WWE Payerview. I don't want to sound like a company shill but their library of dvd documentaries is incredible. Add in stuff like all the series of Tough Enough, Legends Roundtable, NXT Breaking Ground and the recent behind the scenes Wrestlemania documentaries. No shortage of interesting things to watch"

Bizarrely, the kid at the Burger King table is wearing the same clothes as the "British Bulldog's gonna win whether he wants to or not" kid at Summerslam '92

He's my favourite of all time, but I must admit I was surprised that Randy Savage's passing made the front page of BBC news website.

I didn't watch the PPV, I found out the next day at school. The problem was, the person who informed us was a bit of a bullshitter, so we weren't sure whether he was lying or if he just thought that a work was a shoot. When it got verified by more reliable sources (ie the nerds) we knew it was real The Raw tribute was tough to watch. That's how I found out. I think that was the first time that a wrestler's death brought me to tears. It must be hard for newer fans to understand how, not so long ago, wrestling fans could be kept unaware of a major incident for so long. If the Owen Hart incident happened today it would be virtually impossible to go half an hour before finding out the news.

I wouldn't get too stressed about it, they are simply empty & meaningless words spoken by stupid/ignorant people.

Seems like terrorists are getting real tough these days, they must be very proud targeting concerts where the primary audience is young girls.

I agree with you on the Attitude Era podcast. I heard a lot of good reviews about it, but when I listened they seemed to get offended by absolutely everything from that period. It kind of got a little too preachy for me to enjoy. To be fair, there were a LOT of offensive things in the Attitude Era, especially with the way the women were treated (which, as someone who regularly listens to this series, was probably their main source of discontent). I just much prefer the OSW and Lapsed Fan approach, embrace that it was from a different time period and laugh about it, save the moral outrage for the twitterati
