Well, Wrestlemania 9 would have been 10 times better. Hogan could wrestle Yoko, Bret could wrestle Lex, IRS at Beefcake, and DiBiase vs. Undertaker, and Giant Gonzeles could be revealed as Taker's pay-off-ee as he attacks again during their match. It would be superb.

It would have been Crush and Blast, and no one would've cared.
Actually, I always liked Demo Crush. He and Smash weren't bad. not as good as Ax and Smaxh, but still good. I need to find one of those elusive Ax and Crush matches.

The control stick glitch worked no matter how many times you tried it, but if the part attacked during the submission was injured enough, you'd tap upon the release of the hold. In my circle, we barred the use of this glitch, and you would be disqualified if you got caught doing so.
Also, nWo Sting wasn't in Revenge, though Wolfpac Sting was.

PROBLEM Lower card and mid-card wrestlers aren't over
SOLUTION Slowly back away from the "Monday Night Wars" formula of PPV Quality matches every week on free TV. Bring back weekend morning syndicated shows that are mostly Jobber Squashes. This will make these mid-card and lower card guys seem like winners, so when they have a match against someone higher up, they look like a threat.
They could also bring back Prime Time Wrestling, and use it to build characters, and to shocase yet more jobber squashes, as well as an occasional feature bout between non-feuding mid-card guys and upper card guys. RAW and/or Smackdown would continue on, but they would be less hot-shotty. There would rarely, if ever, be world title matches, and absolutely no non-title matches. The show would be highlighted by main event guys in feud building matches. Face challenger vs. Heel Champion's stablemate, challenger and champion on seperate tag teams, etc. Alternatively, US and IC Title matches would frequently serve as main events, and a Tag Title match would on occasion.
PROBLEM The titles don't seem as important as they used to.
SOLUTION Make title reigns longer, with more title defenses on TV. On occasion, have a title change hands on a house show. GET RID OF NON-TITLE MATCHES! The World Titles should only very rarely be defended on free TV, but shoulkd be defended frequently at house shows, and on Pay Per Veiw. The lower-card titles should be defended often on free TV, as well as frequently at house shows and most of the time on PPV.
PROBLEM WWECW isn't as good as ECW was in 1997.
PARTIAL SOLUTION[/b} The main problem with ECW is that it's done in front of a Smackdown crowd. WWE Should completely spin them off as their own brand. They need to seperate the identity of ECW further from that of the WWE. This means no WWE bug in the corner, no WWE signs in the arena, and, most importantly, no WWE Ring. I'm fairly sure Vince got the ECW Rings as part of the bankrupacy. They could use those. Barring that, I'm absolutely sure the WWE owns WCW rings, wich could be given a new canvas, and pass for ECW rings fairly easily. The WWE Ring is too big, the wrong color, and uses ropes instead of steel cables, and canvas turnbuckle pads instead of leather. ECW should also have only Extreem Rules matches, but they don't have to play on that every time. Sometimes, the match could stay entirely within the ring, and not have any weapons at all, but you'd know they could become involved if necessary. Let Paul Heymen have creative input. Get more ECW Origionals back, and end the talent exchange.

I most recently used "Taproot - I" when I hybrid-wrestled last summer.
I used to use Tori's WWF Music. It's my CAW's theme on Wrestlemania 2000.
I also used to use Like a Rock for gimmick reasons. Thinking back, it didn't fit well.
Hybrid Wrestling season's starting up again, and I may do a bit of backyarding this year as well (go ahead and flame me naysayers. I'm careful). Why, the first practice is tomorrow!
I don't know what theme I'll use this year. Maybe I again, or maybe Blink 182 - Adam's Song(my name's Adam). Or maybe some obscure j-pop. Or an insturmental of Cheap Trick - Surrender. Or one of the generic insturmental themes I've been collecting for guys who don't think to bring entrance music. Whatever works, I suppose.

I always liked Scott Norton. He eas great as the nWo tough guy, and I love his Shoulderbreaker. It's just different. He also has a mean powerbomb, but I hate when he finishes with it.

The match is great. Well paced, and action packed without being spotty. The wrestling went back and forth. They told a great story. It had a great ending. It was a career-maker for both guys, Savage more-so, obviously. It's just a superb match. Quite frankly, I don't see what anyone would have against it. What do you think would have made the match better? 17 450 splashes through flaming tables? Gallons of blood? What?

Mountie was great. I'd so mark if Jauque came back and did that again.
I never could figure out what his finisher was though. Did he ever win with anything besides lucky quick-pins and the shock stick?

They weren't even close. Honkey's reign was almost twice as long as Shelton's, which was 34 days longer than Orton's. The Honkey Tonk Man is the last person to hold the IC Title for more than a year, with no one gettingloser than 90 days shy since then.
Hell, Shelton's reign is only the 9th longest, with Honkey, Pedro Morales, Randy Savage, Don Muraco, Greg Valentine, Mr. Perfect, The Rock, and Pat Patterson's reigns being longer.

The problem is that closed-fisted punches expose the business. In kayfabe, open-fisted punches don't cause as much injury, hence someone can take dozens in a match without looking like a boxer after 10 rounds. If you have everyone using closed-fisted punches, it starts getting ridiculous when no one's all bruised and swollen.

I'm glad I missed this. If I had seen WCW Do this live, I'd have stopped watching, then and there, and never turned back. Of course, by the time I was able to watch WCW again, Vince had already bought it, so it's really a moot point.

In This corner, Lilian Garcia! ...and her opponent...ME! I'd so mark if she came back, and beat up Lilian Garcia. Or, she and Fink could have a mixed Tag Team Match with Lillian and that dude from Smackdown. Or even an intergender Tag, so the Fink could beat up Lilian. The point is, of course, to get Garcia off my TV, and Finkel back on. And Mike can come back too. She ruled.

I, too, thought of Martel and Santana.
The WWE should do a reunion of them, for one night only. Wrestlemania Rewind night next year, maybe. Put them against Demolition. They disagree all through the match, and, after Demolition beats them again, they let their old grudge come to a head and start beating one another up, as Ax and Smash look on in amazement.

WWF did huge TV Taping shows with cheap tickets and hours upon hours of wrestling. They would tape several weekso f TV matches all at once, and get a few Colliseum Video Exclusive matches in as well, along with interview segments anbd the like. In those days, wrestling was hot enough that you'd go to the TV tapings to see your favorite wrestler, no matter who he may be facing, and the prices were cheap, and it was a whole day's entertainment, so alot of people went. Here's an example of a TV Taping. WWF @ Huntsville, AL - Von Braun Civic Center - January 5, 1988 (8,500) WWF Superstars taping: Sam Houston pinned Danny Davis; after the bout, Houston was attacked by Bad News Brown (Brown's WWF return) Butch Reed defeated Don Muraco via disqualification when Muraco hit referee Dave Hebner; after the bout, Muraco was attacked by the One Man Gang Jim Duggan & Jake Roberts defeated Ted Dibiase & Virgil via disqualification when Virgil hit Duggan with a chair WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage (w/ Miss Elizabeth) defeated WWF IC Champion the Honkytonk Man, Bret Hart, & Jim Neidhart (w/ Jimmy Hart) in a handicap match when Hogan pinned Honky with the legdrop Prime Time Wrestling - 1/18/88: B. Brian Blair, Jim Brunzell, the Junkyard Dog, & George Steele defeated the Conquistadors, Nikolai Volkoff, & Boris Zhukov (w/ Slick) at 10:03 when JYD pinned a Conquistador with the powerslam; all the babyfaces wore Killer Bee masks for the duration of the bout 1/16/88: WWF Tag Team Champions Tito Santana & Rick Martel defeated Dusty Wolfe & Iron Mike Sharpe at 3:30 when Sharpe submitted to Santana's figure-4 Greg Valentine (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated Van Van Horne via submission with the figure-4 at 2:37 Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Oliver Humperdink) pinned Tiger Chung Lee at 1:23 with the slingshot splash into the ring Ron Bass pinned Rex King with the Pedigree at 1:47; after the bout, Bass attacked his opponent with his whip - Miss Betsy Davey Boy Smith & the Dynamite Kid defeated Gino Carabello & Brian Costello at 3:19 when Dynamite pinned Carabello with a back suplex from the middle turnbuckle; after the bout, Bobby Heenan appeared at the interview stage and said that the Islanders had been reinstated from their suspension and that the Bulldogs should go backstage and speak to WWF President Jack Tunney to find out where Matilda is Don Muraco pinned Dave Wagner at 3:15 with the tombstone Ted Dibiase (w/ Virgil) pinned Brady Boone at 2:38 with a back elbow off the middle turnbuckle 1/23/88: Randy Savage (w/ Miss Elizabeth) pinned Barry Horowitz with the flying elbow drop at 2:31 Butch Reed & the One Man Gang defeated WG Wellington & Ricky Hunter at 3:01 when Gang pinned Wellington with the front suplex Ken Patera & Billy Jack Haynes defeated Iron Mike Sharpe & Joe Mirto at 3:09 when Mirto submitted to Haynes' full nelson Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, & Danny Davis (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated Sam Houston, Rex King, & Van Van Horne at 2:55 when Davis pinned Houston after Houston received the Hart Attack behind the referee's back Jim Duggan pinned Steve Lombardi with the running clothesline at 2:08 King Harley Race, Rick Rude, & Hercules (w/ Bobby Heenan) defeated Jerry Allen, Scott Casey, & Lanny Poffo at 2:25 when Allen submitted to Hercules' backbreaker 1/30/88: WWF IC Champion Honky Tonk Man (w/ Jimmy Hart & Peggy Sue) pinned Omar Atlas with the Shake, Rattle, & Roll at 1:58 The Ultimate Warrior pinned Terry Gibbs at 1:18 with the gorilla press slam Dino Bravo (w/ Frenchy Martin) pinned SD Jones at 2:19 with the side suplex The Islanders (w/ Bobby Heenan) defeated Scott Casey & Lanny Poffo at 2:35 when Tama pinned Poffo with the splash off the top Bad News Brown pinned Brady Boone at 1:35 with a clothesline; after the match, Brown threw his opponent out of the ring (Brown's TV return after being gone several years) Demolition (w/ Mr. Fuji) defeated Outback Jack & Jerry Allen at 2:04 when Ax pinned Allen following the Decapitation Jake Roberts pinned Dusty Wolfe with the DDT at 2:43 In addition, if they ran a bit short, they would use underccard matches from taped house shows as filler. If the arena seems darker than usual, that's what you're seeing. You can find out a lot of interesting stuff about the WWF by looking at their house show and TV Taping results. Here's the best resource I've found. www.angelfire.com/wrestling/cawthon777/results.htm

Are you related ain any way to Lodi?
Did you get to keep your Intercontinental Title Belt?
What was your favorite match?
What's your opinion on Jimmy Hart? Was he fun to work with?
Is that you singing in Cool, Cocky, Bad?
If and when you play wrestling videogames, do you play as yourself? You're my favorite character in WWF Wrestlemania, btw.
Do you think anyone will ever beat your record length IC Title reign?
As the best IC Champion of all time, hat do you think of the status of the Intercontinental Championship today?
Do you prefer Ti ghts, like you wore at, sya, Wrestlemania 4, or one-shoulder singlets like you wore at, say, Royal Rumble 1998? I hope I'm not getting my terminology wrong.

I'm a bit further away than the Suburbs, but yeah, basically. I went to high shcool with Gangrel and The Blue Meanie...well, they were a few years ahead of me. I remember watching Shark Boy play HS Football against the home-town rivals, Dudleyville High School. We always go on feild trips to The Outer Reached of you Mind. I like to shop in WCW Special Forces. Insert home-town joke here.
