I do a lot, but I tend to hit up thrift stores, yardsales and find insane clearance sales on used or even new merch.
Movies I tend to do a decent bit as I can pick them up at the local video store 3 for $10 or sometimes at yardsales for like $1 for a DVD which is cheaper than renting. If I decide I don't want it, I pass it on to my bro or friends. And for a while, my sister and I would walk to the video store and they'd do a buy 2 get 1 free deals. She'd usually end up finding 2 or 4 movies she wanted, so I'd just grab stuff. That's how I ended up finding Sukiyaki Western Django, which was awesome.
Video games are less to a degree. I really only play my 360 so if I find a game on the cheap that looks decent I pick it up. A lot of the time, though, I'm somewhat familiar with it. I know I picked up Farcry Predator, DarkSector and Prey without any real knowledge of them. Didn't care for Farcry at all, but I dug the latter two. Then again, I own quite a few older games just because I'll easily shell out up to a dollar or two for almost any used old school video games. But honestly, I have so many I haven't played because I'm too lazy to hook up gaming systems. (Plus, I need to invest in another surge protector).

Interesting story... www.usatoday.com/tech/gaming/2010-08-03-soundgarden03_ST_N.htm?csp=34tech"Black Rain" by Soundgarden will apparently be in Warriors of Rock, an unreleased song they did in 1991. And their "best of" album, "Telephantasm" will be included with the first wave of releases as well, pretty much insuring them of platinum status, as well as the album being "Day One DLC" for it. Smart move on their part. Even if the DLC doesn't sell great (it seems as if they're charging for it), they're going to get a platinum record and gamers get an incentive to buy early.

amazon's deal of the day is Ghostbusters for $14.99 (granted, you'll need another $10.01 for free shipping unless you have Prime)
Also, there's a deal running where if you buy the Final Fantasy 360 bundle, you get the FF faceplate as well as UFC 10 and Bioshock 2 free with purchase.

I really need to try these, as I love all meats from the pig really. Plus, there are no taco stands around here.

Man, I kinda felt bad for this guy on MW2. He got 40+ kills and under 10 deaths in like 6 straight games, and his team still lost every single one of them to us. That sucks. I hate getting stuck on s*** teams like that. Except for the winning part ;D That happens in a lot of the Halo 3 games I've been in. Usually I was on the losing team, though. I never feel too bad, even though I'm not that great in the game as "that guy" never has a mic or makes use of it, really.

I write left handed, so if it's pencil it's smudged to all hell. (Pens I usually avoid this) I also tend to get lazy especially signing my name which leads to sort of long drawn out ~ type markings. Like my last name you can make out Kn in cursive and then basically a long barely curved ~ type line. If I'm in a hurry, this translates into other words.
I don't write much, however, mainly notes if I leave. My dad's grumbled a few times unable to read them, but my mom says she always knows where I'm at as she can figure out the first letters or two in a sentence and get the rest. I think the main problem is my dad has very neat handwriting. My mom's is pretty neat too.
But I wouldn't trade being lefthanded for anything. Especially since it got me out of calligraphy in Art Class. (I was the only lefty in the class sans the teacher. He filled out my big page as an example and told me I was exempt and that he only had to learn it since he was going into teaching and the budget wouldn't cover enough calligraphy paper to be smudged by ink.)

Those all describe the behavior of a hipster. Liking things and turning on them when they become mainstream, and liking things ironically are what I generally associate with hipster culture. The PBR thing kills me, because it's now so cool to order it in bars and costs as much as the other beers on tap, while in college, it was the beer you bought when you couldn't afford beer. I think the OP was called a hipster because of his clothing and look. So, I direct you to this blog LATFH www.latfh.com (WARNING: Language in site title) for a more visual idea of a hipster. The glasses are definitely a prevalent item. Yeah and despite not liking things "mainstream" they seen to flock technology wise to the next cool thing. So basically, they're the equivalent of posting "FIRST!" on a new thread. They want to be there at the start of everything. If it catches on, they'll distance themselves from it for being commercial and if it doesn't, they'll usually talk about how artists haven't sold out or how something isn't ready for the unwashed masses. That's definitely a generalization, though. Most "hipsters" are alright and not too smug or full of themselves (outside of some dressing like idiots.), and I think quite a few people relate in some areas at least to wanting to find new stuff and telling people about it. (I say some ares, because technology for instance, most people would rather wait for "2.0".)

Just got done with my first Versus in L4D2 in like a month. Nothing like taking the lead early, trailing by about 100-ish going into the finale. Then destroying the survivors without even letting them start the concert, only to have two people on our team survive for a 600-ish point win. ...And one of them was me. I managed to saunter Ellis right behind the Tank as he crushed the downed Coach and Nick.
Oh, and it's absurd that people yell about grabbing snipers for the Dark Carnival finale. It's pretty stupid to grab more than two (I think one is plenty), but if you get to the far corner above the entrance to the concert hall, and your teammate protects you in the corner, you can just wipe out quite a bit of the special infected since they have to spawn so far away and almost always in obvious places (stage roof or behind the area by the concession area.) I went wooden stock sniper/guitar and managed to destroy all hunters, half the hunters and a jockey and a charger. And lay waste to both Tanks.

I registered to vote at a county fair. Not even my own county, mind you. As for selective services, I know it can be done online as it's what I did. They mailed me a paper to confirm it. www.sss.gov/I didn't actually register until I was 25, however, as I was told by countless teachers it would be brought up eventually. I never ended up going to college or doing anything else and barely got the registration in (Deadline is before you turn 26, although you're supposed to have it in 3 months before/after you turn 18.)

$586 sounds about right if they had two or three lines open.
You need to make steady deposits into a safety box to avoid this type of crap. I got mocked a bit by fellow employees for making several $150-$200 deposits a night rather than a few $300 ones, but if the store was empty and my drawer was full, I quickly got rid of big bills which I wouldn't need.

Reservoir Dogs. Although, to be fair, it was a $1.5 million indie film thanks to Keitel.

I had a black one with a yellow handle. I loved it, my dad even mounted a nut and bolt on the back as a "trailer hitch" so I could tow my bro's Radio Flyer wagon or tie cans to it or whatever.
I lived two houses away from my grandparents (who babysat me) with a back alley with only four houses connected so I rode it down there alot.
Then my legs got too long for it (and I had a scooter) so I sold it to my gram for $15.

Nice. I'll definitely be picking this up in a year or two when the price drops to a ridiculous level due to mass production.
