Yeah, Punk isn't exactly thin (people keep calling him chubby even). He doesn't really look it on TV, but when you're standing in a room with him, the dude has some massive legs (no homo). LOL! What can possibly be gay about mentioning that some dude has massive legs? What's next? Triple H has a giant nose (no homo), Scott Steiner has giant veins (no homo), Samoa Joe is chubby (no homo)? Back ontopic: I think back in the late 90s everyone was on steroids. You had to be on steroids to not looks like a totally scrawny jabroni next to a rather average guy like Bagwell (roided up monster), not to mentions big guys like Sid, Goldberg or Steiner (super roided up monsters). Today the average wrestler is back to guys like Jarrett, who look thin and small next to those massive roid abusers.

I would like to comment in this thread again (?).
With the second hour of Impact TNA really won me back as it if finally going somewhere. The whole product was growing really stale, but now it seem rivitalized.
As many critics say. TNA has a strong WCW-Nitro-esque feel to it. BUT, this is actually a good thing as it reminds me of the good old Nitros that finally made WCW better than WWF.
After all the swerves and turns TNA finally seems to have stabilized. I care a lot more about TNA than I care about WWE. At the moment I only WATCH TNA events while I read spoilers and results of WWE events.
This indeed has a strong feel of good old WCW and I hope that TNA will not screw that up by repeating WCW's mistakes. Pacman Jones was ONE thing that really gave me a bad feeling about the company's future and I'm glad that this tool is gone. The only way Pacman Jones WOULD be acceptable would be if he got paid less than main eventers like Angle, Sting or Christian AND he would actually wrestle (get his ass kicked most of the time, then perhaps cheat to win). But as long as he still works for NFL that won't happen, so just NEVER DO THAT SHIT AGAIN... NEVER MAKE YOUR WRESTLERS LOOK BAD AGAIN BY BRINGING IN SOME LAME ASS GUY FROM OTHER SPORTS!!!
I like how Jarrett seems to rather stay behind the scenes. Maybe the tragic events in his family have brought him down to earth, maybe he realized that the meaning of life is not to put yourself in the spotlight and make yourself champ because you can. HHHundreds of world titles mean nothing, if you just abuse your power to get your own ass on top of some statistic that in the end means SHIT. (or should I say sHHHit?)
Yes, if should stick to watching wrestling TNA will probably be my sanctuary from all that incestuous WWE crap. And I'm glad that I can say now that the reason I prefer TNA to WWE is not only because there are no McMahons around, but also the product is better.
And I seriously hope that TNA will keep up the good work, but not grow megalomaniac like WCW did.
TNA is better than WWE. On one hand that is really no big thing in 2007. On the other it's nice to see that they indeed ARE good and entertaining now.

Wow, WCW really DID suck back then. I stopped watching wrestling (both WCW and WWF) some time ago, so I didn't have to witness all the really bad worked shoots. Oh, and "Handsome" Whitey Fats: your signature is mesmerizing

And something else I just noticed... I f***ING LOATHE THIS DAMN "BREATHING-IN-YOUR-f***ING-CHEAP-HEADSET-WHILE-SPEAKING" thing. I hated it when Kent Jones did it I hate it when anyone does it.

These are not even funny. There is one of CM Punk and just sounds so retarded. If you're going to mimick someone at least sound something like them. Finally. I thought it was just me. I seriously find these prank calls are among the worst I ever heard. The Bret Hart and CM Punk impersonations are absolutely crap and sound NOWHERE close to them. The Scott Hall ones are bad, but since it's not that hard to imitate Hall, so they are not as bad as the others. However, all of these prank calls are stupid and have no point. If you try to prank call someone it would be a good thing to be prepared what to say and what to expect to make it a funny prank. These are just stupid pointless calls of someone pretending to be a pro wrestler while dropping stupid lines that everyone on this board has heard or read in about a billion jokes. A funny (yet still overused) form of prank calling is preparing a soundboard. If you have a really large sample database of some wrestler's promos you could actually piss someone off really bad. But if you plan on doing it make sure you really have a large variety of things you can say/play and don't just take ONE promo of which you keep repeating samples.

I just cannot pick ONE...
My top favourites:
Chris Jericho - Days Of My Life (his first WCW entrance theme, a production music song, he used the version without lyrics. I just marked for his entrance and the music the very first time I saw him. Since then I was a Jerichoholic and this will probably never eeeeeever change.)
Ultimate Warrior's WWF Theme (PURE intensity, BETTER than ANY theme by ANY rockband for ANY wrestler. No rockband at a wrestling event can ever recreate the goosebumps you would get when the speakers would go: "DADADADADADADADADADA DA DA DA DADADADADADADADADADA....")
Christian Cage's TNA theme (It suits him like "Days Of My Life" suited Jericho. It's a good thing that they do not actually use an Evanescence song, since wrestling themes are sometimes much better when they do NOT contain lyrics.)
Chris Benoit - WWE - Whatever (Even with lyrics it was a perfect theme for Benoit... *sigh* well, the lyrics suited Benoit and unfortunetely suited him a little too well in the end...)
Mr. Perfect's WWF Theme (Well, what can you say? A perfect theme)
Chris Masters' Theme (Does he still use this one? Like Mr.Perfect's theme a great theme for a wrestler like him... well not anymore since we probably won't see bodybuilders anymore in WWE for... well... for a year or so...)
There are a lot of other great entrance themes like: nWo (original b&w), Ric Flair, Macho Man, The Narcissist, Goldberg, MVP, but...
...in the end I think it's a photo finish between Mr.Perfect and the Ultimate Warrior with the Warrior going over just because the entrance theme was a vital part of his whole gimmick since it added to his intensity.
ULTIMATE WARRIOR THEME
Edit: I would love to see (and hear) an experiment done on any RAW. Just hit the Ultimate Warrior theme and the crowd would MARK OUT like hell. It would work in TNA and probably even in ROH.

I liked his theme. He was ok, but could have been more impressive. He could get over as a great heel. Give him time.

Beeroids? However, I just want to say that I f***ing HATE the guys on commentary. ALL German commentators (in WWE, WCW, Japan and TNA) suck ass ALL THE TIME. I had to endure that shit many times. I'm glad to be able to get original commentary these days. People who understand both, German and English, will notice how sucky and lame these German commentators (especially that one teenage f***face whose name I forgot. He only got the commentary job for WCW because his dad had some say at that TV station which broadcasted WCW back in the days) were all the time.

I never saw remember Bookerdust, so: No. However, I could imagine to see Booker T in TNA for a short while. He could feud with Angle (but lose in the end) in order to delay Angle's title loss to whoever should become champ then.

Angle haters will find some reason to still hate on him whatever he does. I think he deserves his standing in TNA and he deserves to have a very long run with the World Title. When he finally will drop it to someone, this guy will be super-over and I hope that it will be someone like Alex Shelley (with a proper build-up).

Damn! So it was basically just a teaser. I don't remember watching this, I would have marked like hell and would have been pissed off as hell afterwards. Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! I hate this inconsistency of wrestling. One time people get the win even though pieces of broken weapons and replays show that it was an unfair victory and in other cases complaining and showing replays make referees reverse decisions. I hate reversed decisions!

Ok, this is good for TNA. However, I still hate that he is not allowed to wrestle and think that he is a waste of time and money in the end.

...was AWFUL!
Pacman Jones' cover and Abyss' tapout BOTH were not on screen and I guess there were several minor things the cameras did not catch.
Seriously, what the hell was wrong there? Did they hire some new people, who are new to this? It's a live PPV where you cannot edit things out and you cannot afford to have this sort of crappy camerawork since it makes the whole company look unprofessional.
Seriously if I were in Jarrett's or Dixie Carter's place I would have a serious talk with some people and if necessary fire the one responsible to replace him with someone more competent.

WWE Women's Title - Silicon on a Pole Match:
In order to win the match you have to grab a pair of silicone implants and a contract for a playboy shooting from a pole.

Black Reign is not Golddust. Black Reign in someway seems like some f***ed up Black Metal freak or something like hat. Black Reign seems like a misanthropic psycho, while Goldust was psycho in another, gayer way.
