I read in powerslam a while back that wwe were thinking about putting out an Iron Sheik autobiography... which would be interesting... it would also be the only book in history that would have to be written entirely in caps lock.

The main two that spring to mind are Jericho-Shawn from WM19 which was just a bit 'meh' and Jericho-HHH last man standing from Fully Loaded 2000 which I remember made up of "big spot-drawn out 9 count-big spot-drawn out 9 count".
Also the Austin-HHH 3 stages of hell match that just went far too long.

well to put it into context, (and I'm not trying to justify anything Austin did) but from Chris Adams wiki: "In April 2000, Adams and his girlfriend of four months were both found unconscious inside a friend's apartment, the victims of an overdose of the drug GHB and alcohol. Adams recovered, but his girlfriend died at a local hospital ten hours later. Over a year later, Adams was indicted on a manslaughter charge, but on October 7, 2001, while awaiting trial, he was fatally shot in the chest during a drunken brawl with a friend at the man's Texas home. The gun owner claimed self-defense and was found innocent of all charges"

"You learn to put up with a certain amount of disruption living here, but the type of people attending boxing and wrestling matches aren't going to be your average Prom goer. People could be coming out in the early hours after drinking and making noise and it could lead to more crime and vandalism."
Rubbish! I've been to the proms, the people there are just as big a gang of scum as wrestling fans.

"WOOO! Hulk Hogan, the nature boy is coming for your world heavyweight championship, and once it all goes down 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring the dirtiest playing in the game is gonna use your precious world title belt as collateral for a 500 grand loan I won't ever pay back, I'm a deadbeat!!! WOOOO!!!"
which sets us up perfectly for the long awaited Flair-Repo Man feud.

Maybe not one of the best of all time but I've always been a huge fan of Elix Skipper, a great wrestler and a great athlete, he was one of the few guys who was still worth watching in the last days of WCW.

I thought William Regal's book was a really good bit of work, it was interesting to get an inside view of the last days of the British wrestling circuit, plus the stuff about him hitting rock bottom and going into rehab is really powerful.

while I'm not happy that Flair has ended up like this I do find it quite amusing that a little over a year ago he was on Legends of Wrestling mocking Shane Douglas for working at Target.... Shane must be laughing pretty hard right now.

From what I've read Thesz didn't like anyone who wasn't a shooter, I think there's a Jim Ross quote which went long the lines of "he was a nice guy but too old school, if he'd had his way guys would still be wrestling in wool tights"

Rick Martel came across as a really nice guy who was happy with his life after wrestling and was pleased to get the chance to tell his story. Cornette and Heenan were both funny as hell. I think the guy who came across best from any shoot interview is Kevin Von Erich.
