I don't see anything wrong with it. If they're committing to kickstarting the tag division, might as well go with a team that's over. I realize that the team isn't over yet because it's relatively new. But Kofi is over and Evan's finish is WAY over. All there moves garner ooh's and ahh's from the crowd and they sell like madmen so they could get other teams over.
Anything that gets the tag division going, I support. JR was majorly putting over the rebirth of the tag division tonight. He had a very important man in his ear, instructing him to do just that. This excites me.

I'm sure this has been said but it'll deliver on the level that Rock-Hogan delivered on.
Will it be a classic on the level of a Bret/Owen or HBK/Angle? Absolutely not. But, because of how big these two stars are, a ridiculously hot crowd firmly for one man and against the other, and I'm sure a ton of false finishes, should make it a pretty damn good match.

What WILL they do? Probably a little bit of both.
What SHOULD they do? It would be a lot of fun to see them bring in teams from the indies, TNA or even Japan. There's endless amounts of awesome teams out there. But, they have so many guys on the roster that they do little to nothing with that making teams out of those men just makes too much sense. I'd love to see the KOW, Briscoes, American Wolves, Young Bucks, ANX or MCMG at a Wrestlemania. And maybe we will. But, developing teams out of the guys that are already on the roster is most likely the way to go.

See, but the fact that they both have such legitimate viewpoints is what makes this so great for me. That's what makes it feel so real. So often, in real life, nothing is black and white, good and evil. It's all grey area. If it was good vs. evil, it would feel like a normal wrestling feud. One's right, one's wrong, one's mean, one's nice, blah, blah, blah. That would work because we're watching two of the very best at their craft (craft being: selling a feud). But, because it's so much grey area, it feels so real and fresh. Which is what I think wrestling needs.

I actually love the logo.
As for the shirt you used as an example, I actually hate the front of that. The design is cool but a lot of people don't know that part of one of his sleeves is dedicated to his "Luck is for Losers" mantra. If the shirt had said that instead of "Straight Edge Hardcore," I'd probably like it. I love the back though. I wish they would have played off the Chicago flag stars a little more in his merch. All that said, that shirt is better than 99% of the merch WWE produces, IMO.

I would fire almost no one on the main roster. I would instead focus on finding a use for everyone, using underutilized and less talented wrestlers in tag teams to hide their flaws, use most of the divas as valets to avoid having them wrestle, etc. Yep yep yep.

I'd be absolutely shocked, considering his past disdain for that company. I think he'd rather go back to ROH to try to kick TNA's ass and become the number 2 company.
That said, right now, I really don't watch Impact. Haven't since late 06. But, if he went there, I'd start watching on a weekly basis again.

Loved this show. Rad WWE Title storyline made this show feel fresh and different, even if it was still just Orton and Triple H stuff.
