Were they really selling Foxy as a trailblazer? What the hell happened tonight? Alexa Bliss was just hyping her up.

Carmella has tapped twice in 2 weeks. She is probably retaining. Becky will still end up beating Carmella down the line, I think the Charlotte thing is just smokescreen.

how many dominant tag teams can exist at the same time?
NXT its fine because they just ship off older tags, but the WWE can't do that.

She was also filming some movie stuff, and other than the suspension has been on TV pretty regularly, plus a good number of house shows. RAW matches SHOULD be rare for her.

Well since Vince obviously loves carmella but the bookers know she can't do anything more than gimmick matches or multi woman matches I guess that's all we going to get for the next few months until Evolution? She just main evented Smackdown with a 13 minute match and has nothing but singles matches at PPV.

Punk cut great promos and elevated absolutely everyone he worked with. The problem is that Punk was rarely booked in the main even despite being the champion. The wwe relied on part timers like Rock and Lesnar to main event the important shows, Punk was an afterthought. Who exactly did Punk elevate? His feud did nothing for Ryback and Bryan went off to Team Hell No afterwards which was what jumpstarted his push.

Cena's 06/07 reign. Won it in the TLC match with Edge, worked with a much different talent pool than say Punk, with defenses against Umaga, Lashley, Khali, as well as HBK and Orton. Really felt like the top guy, and had pretty good matches consistently, even with Khali. The Unforgiven DQ match with Orton was a miss but it was obviously to set up the bigger match that never got to happen do his injury ending the reign.
A proper ending to his title reign and it'd be no contest, imo.

Alexa and Charlotte will never be confused for one another. Its a weird issue here that never gets brought up with men. I mean Seth, Elias, and Drew are all prominent parts of RAW and look like a pokemon evolution line. There are dozens of white males with scraggly beards on the roster too.
The 3 women pictured are all pretty distinct from one another.

For the sake of being visually different? Its just fact that they are currently the 3 biggest stars in the division. Cena and Orton were similar but its not like they got passed over on promotion because of it.

Meltzer theorized that they might take the titles off of Carmella and Alexa sometime before the Evolution ppv because their matches haven't been good and "that’s tough - because if you end [Evolution] with those two, there is going to be a struggle" so with that said... I'm expecting Becky and Ronda to both be new champions at Summerslam setting up a Ronda/Becky Evolution match that'll be pretty dope. If not that then Ronda/Bliss at Evolution to solidify Ronda as champion. But rest assured, there's no way Carmella is walking into that all-women's ppv as champion. They won't allow it especially given those rumors these past few months about her ringwork being shit. They had Carmella pin Asuka twice. Anything is possible.

The size thing with Alexa is weird. The roster is filled with similar sized women nobody has problems with. Other than Nia and Charlotte, most of the women aren't far from Alexas size. You could literally see it on RAW. Ember and Mickie are right there with her. Even the smaller women tend to still be a bit taller than her, 1-3 inches. However, it's not so much that she's small and wins. It's the fact that she dominates and wins in a dominant fashion. Sasha's not much bigger than Alexa but with Charlotte she had to put a lot into it to finish her off. Alexa kicked Charlotte and then spent the match manhandling her. That's the disconnect. Thats the thing. They aren't taller than her. Ember is much more muscular, but same exact height. Nikki Cross was dwarfed by Sasha standing next to her. Kairi Sane is the same size and rolled through much bigger opponents at the MYC with no complaint, and when Io shows up she'll be the same too. Its not a size argument but a sloppily worded "workrate" argument. Like I said, outside of Charlotte and Nia, people that actually beat her, the whole "Dominate and win and she's so tiny" talking point doesn't make sense. I mean her beating Sasha and Mickie last year isn't really a big deal.

They aren't turning Roman because they don't have to. He can say things like this and it fits his character, and his reactions. The only people obsessed with everyone cheering Roman are people online. Yeah, no. Commentary is god in WWE. And Commentary sells Roman as the unilaterally virtuous conquering ultra-hero. When nobody buys it. The commentary was literally talking about him having an ego during the Lashley feud. He has NEVER been some virtuous hero. WWE has well established that Roman will be "Roman" and its whatever as far as fan reactions on a week to week basis. The fact people complain every week about Roman not being the perfect face while also complaining that WWE is forcing you to like Roman is a gigantic contradiction that nobody seems to pick up on. Its pretty obvious that dirtsheet news have influenced peoples opinion on what WWE is trying to do with Roman but its barely reflected in the actual shows at all. They went as far as to say he's acting like a cool heel to get cheered. What kind of utter nonsense is that? Its pretty clear they established that Roman doesn't give a crap anymore and thats that. He's had issues and faces like Lashley and heels and he will continue to do so.

You know how everyone talks about that Mighty Mouse gimmick that Neville was supposed to get? It occurred to me that Alexa has that gimmick minus the hero bit. She regularly runs roughshod over people far larger than her, physically dominating them like someone twice or three times her size and seems to win whenever it's important. The size thing with Alexa is weird. The roster is filled with similar sized women nobody has problems with. Other than Nia and Charlotte, most of the women aren't far from Alexas size. You could literally see it on RAW. Ember and Mickie are right there with her.

They don't care about people liking Roman anymore and I don't know why people fall for every report about "they're trying to get him cheered".
One look at WWE TV since Mania has proven thats not really the case.

And sadly you know the crowd is going to go insane if he wins but the management thinks he's a heel despite the audience chanting him as a face Rusev is just Rusev and its pointless to really dive into heel/face with him. Plus, the minute he's officially face half the people would just claim he got ruined anyway. They know the Rusev day stuff is over and acknowledge that, and Rusev himself can start feuds with just about anyone, so why does it matter?

I liked it. Finn even got a cheap shot on Corbin to remind everyone of their feud.

I said it in the RAW thread last night - but they didn't trust 4 or 5 guys to catch him? It had to be everyone to 100% make sure the Golden Boy didn't get hurt? Thats just how that spot is done sometimes. Cena did the same thing
