Oh no. I always wondered what new low that scummy sleazebag Joey Ryan would stoop to next. He's totally going to do something like this isn't he?

If I see a video of anything Cornette, Nash or Honkytonk Man related then i'm clicking the play button faster than the speed of light. Honkytonk man said Rick Rude killed himself cause he injected drugs and they had to amputate his 'Ravishing' part, if you get my point. So I'll pass on a lot of Honky stuff on youtube I must admit I enjoy them all for varying reasons. Cornette for his encyclopaedic knowledge, Nash for his sarcastic straight talking and Honkytonk man for acting like a crazy old drunk in the bar telling tall tales.

Thanks for that. Much appreciated. Looking forward to finally getting to play them. š Asylum remains my favorite, but theyāre all good! Enjoy! They do look fantastic. And thankfully even if I don't enjoy them, i've only spent Ā£7 for all three of them. The benefit of still playing games from 2 systems ago!

Looking for a bit of playstation advice. I know everyone else has moved onto the PS5 now but I recently picked up the Batman Arkham City, Arkham Asylum and Arkham Origins for the PS3 (Yeah I know, i'm a long way behind the times!) So my question is, would anyone who has played this series recommend that I play Origins first, despite the fact that it is the later game or should I play them in the order that they were released. Thanks in advance. I'd play Origins last. It only barely even relates to the other two, and gameplay-wise it's pretty much just Arkham City 2: Arkham Citier. Has pretty much all of the same mechanics and the biggest differences between them are that it's a good bit more difficult and has better boss fights, to where it pretty much just feels like a decent expansion pack more than really a game in its own right. City notably builds on Asylum's mechanics (though personally I do like Asylum more) but Origins is kind of just more of the same of City for the most part. Thanks for that. Much appreciated. Looking forward to finally getting to play them. š

I'm just glad i'm not a fan of one of those 12 greedy clubs who have sold the soul of their club even further.

One mans opinion but Iād rather watch Raw and SD over AEW. It kind of depends how I feel. Raw and Smackdown make for a safe comfortable watch, but if i'm in the mood for a messy disjointed car wreck of a show I get more entertainment from Dynamite. A ringing endorsement for both shows there š

Conspiracy theory time-
Do you think Vince has soured on Edge because of Christian going to AEW? Probably not, but it wouldn't surprise me given the childish, irrational pettiness that Vince is capable of.

I remember the rumor but it was for SummerSlam 97 actually I wonder if Jerry Springer was considered being used for the Pillman/Goldust/Marlena angle.

The Attitude Era Podcast - They just kept on getting too mad and going "Reeeeee" or yelling in my ear FOR F***'S SAKEKKKE! Over aspects they find offensive now, its like how shit, and some stuff they are just wrong about saying "Fans back then didn't even enjoy that" when some parts definitely were enjoyed. That was exactly the reason I stopped listening after a few episodes. I saw the show had great reviews and I love OSW and The Lapsed Fan so thought it would be perfect. But good grief, The Attitude era podcast was awful. It was like an unholy trinity of not being entertaining, informative or amusing. And worst of all, as you mention, getting offended by so many aspects of the Attitude era. Part of the reason why Lapsed Fan and OSW are such a joy to listen to is that they embrace that era and have an easy going attitude towards it, but the Attitude era podcast was so nauseatingly preachy.

Virtually everything the Big Bossman did in 1999. He was my MVP for that year! Nabbed off an earlier thread to avoid paraphrasing: "'With the deepest regrets, and tears that are soaked I'm sorry to hear that your dad finally croaked He lived a full life on his own terms Soon he'll be buried and eaten by worms But if I could have a son as stupid as you I'd have wished for cancer so I would die too So be brave, and be strong, get your life on track 'Cause the old bastard's DEAD and he ain't never comin' back!' I thought it was hilarious then, and hilarious now. Also the time he was out of the Corporation for a week, ran out to help Austin, then the next week, entire Corporate Ministry in the ring, and Bossman's early 90s music hits and he came out and the crowd went f***ing nuts as he stormed to the ring, Vince and Shane looking worried, Taker ready to pounce...Bossman gets to the ring with a mic and goes..."I love you guys" and they all hug. People were so pissed off, it was great. And the time he won the Hardcore title in the street by beating the shit out of popular midcarder Al Snow and spent 50 seconds jogging back through the arena back to ringside to get the title to a chorus of boos which he reacted to as if it was a standing ovation. Or the time he hit a slam on Edge and did a cut throat signal to the crowd yelling "this is it". Before hitting his big move... a casual one shoulder pin with him counting the fall, only for Edge to kick out at 2 and Bossman to react like it he never saw that coming. Genuinely, if he were around today, we'd have a 50 page thread about Bossman Reactions Appreciation. Sadly the best of all was on a house show so we only saw the reports from fans: Mick Foley: I was at (some local theme park) and I saw Bossman getting sick on the kids Scooby Doo ride! Bossman: Hey, man, I wasn't feeling well before that. Ain't you ever had a tummy ache? I'm not going to lie, it's 22 years later and I still giggle like a small child everytime I hear Bossman going "Wahh Wahh, My daddy" š

I was at a WWF Superstars taping in 1993 that lasted about 6 hours. I genuinely can't work out if sitting through that would be awesome or interminable. 1993 WWF is like a comfort blanket to me, but I imagine once you get to hour 4 and get a 2nd dose of Bastian Booger and Damien Demento squash matches it would begin to get tiresome!

On this weeks Lapsed Fan podcast they were talking about how disappointing it was that Howard Finkel didn't write an autobiography before his passing. He must have had some fascinating tales considering he was in the company for so long. Although he was probably too much of a company man to reveal anything too exciting.

My timeline might be off, but I'd say sometime around 2013-14.
You had the emergence of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, The Shield and The Wyatts and Cena started to look and feel dated around this period. Similar to how Hogan looked out of place in 1993 WWF.
Maybe have Cena turn into a bitter veteran fighting against the internet's favourites.

It's not like Prime Time had a strict dress code or anything... It's actually kind of neat that Vince must have been like "Ya know what? Let's just be comfy for once. Wear a sweater, sweats, whatever you're feeling" Wow. Heenan and Vince look like they are wearing early prototype Max Moon attire.
