Am I the only one who actually WANTS to see Hulk Hogan in the ring? Assuming his health is permitting, of course.
Think of it this way, Hulk knows more of his own limitations than anyone here. He doesn't NEED to wrestle. I'm sure he'll get paid the same either way, and he could do commercials for a living or whatever. If he's doing this, it's because he wants to, and feels he's capable of putting on a decent match without killing himself. Yeah, they're both old, and yeah, it won't be a 5* classic, but for christ's sake, the man's a legend. If it weren't for Hulk Hogan, no one would be on this forum right now, because wrestling would have fizzled out in the 1980's If the man wants to wrestle, let him.
Now should he be TNA Heavyweight Champion? Probably not. Sting can do it. He's good enough that in his old and busted state, he's as believable as the young guys. Hogan, on the other hand, is much futher down the spiral. Maybe a fluke win, and lose it or vacate it right away, but he should definately not be a long term legitimate champion. Having his name in the title history would help the title in the long run. But, if you're gonna put it on the Hulkster, you might as well give Flair a run too. He may be older, but he's in better shape, and not as far gone.
Hell, with those 3 names in the title history, Sting, Flair, and Hogan, the TNA Championship will be that much closer to becomming a world title.

didn't catch the beginning of the nWo. I got into WCW, and wrestling in general, again in the middle of '97. I never thought of the nWo as a seperate company from WCW, but rather as a group of huge stars with huge egos trying to take it over from the inside. At the time, I thought wrestling was 100% legit. I HATED the nWo, and wanted to see them beat down at every opportunity. Except Savage. Face or heel, he's always been my second favorite, after Flair.
It was a great angle, perhaps the greatest of all time. There have been some imitators, but none did it quite as well. Of course, by the time the factions started, it had run it's course, and should have self destructed, but it just kept going, and going, and going... I never did like the Wolfpac. I liked the Black and White better, and WCW best. always considered Lex and Sting traitors for joining the nWo, even if that particular faction was tweeners, then full on faces.

You forgot The Sultan for Fatu.
Sting from blonde surfer guy to emo crow faced guy, Macho Man from short trunks to long tights Undertaker from undead zombie to satanic cult leader to biker, and back.

I've wanted a replica classic IC itle for years, but I can't find one in my price range. The first time I saw one for sale, it was $150, but now I can't find one for less than $300.
I'd even settle for the plastic and foam one from Jakks, but my local Wal Mart only ever had tag team, WCW, and ECW titles.

meh. Streaming video doesn't work so well on dial--up. Stupid WWE. Like anyone wants to go to a website and watch their C show. Is this WGN's fault, or the E themselves?

WTF, Superstars is still on?!?!?! This is HUGE News to me. It was my favorite WWE TV Show, and I thought it was cancelled after Wrestlemania. What time and channel?
Here's hoping it's not WWE.com only, as that defeats the purpose. If I wanna wait 2 hours to watch wrestling online, I'll just go to youtube.

ait, Superstars is still on?!?!?! I thought they cancelled it after Wrestlemania. Shame too, it was my favorite of the 3 WWE TV shows. I don't bother with Tough Enough...

I never did buy into storylines. I always assumed they were to make for a better show. On the other hand, i thought the stuff in ring was a legitimate sport until i was 16 or so, around 2000

You learn something every day. I guess Dos Caras only wrestled/promoted in puerto rico, and wasn't from there. Or, perhaps, I'm thinking of the wrong person entirely...

Del Rio is Dos Caras Jr., right? I was almost certain Dos Caras is Puerto Rican. Even if Alberto lives in Mexico, he'd still be puerto rican

One of these days, I'm going to totally mark out, and from then on, I'll completely believe it's real, no matter what anyone tells or shows me.
I'll be the guy who says "Oh, the storylines are written by scriptwriters and don't matter they're only there to hype the action up, and the show's more important than who wins or loses, but the wrestling action is a real actual sport".
Honestly, wrestling would be 300 times better if this were so. Hell, even fix the big title matches, but if Joe Blow is wrestling Johnny Whatshisname, it'd be awesome if they really had a real wrestling match under pro rules.

Traci Brooks is indeed awful. She might have a place managing Beer Money in the near future, but otherwise she'd be completely pointless.
ODB, on the other hand, is awesome. At this rate, the "Knockout" division will be good again before long. We just need Kong back.

They'll call it WrestleMania 2000. C'mon, honestly, if the current roster is any indication, the only person still alive to remember WrestleMania 2000 in 3984 will be Undertaker. Except he missed that one. Out with an injury at the time. will then call it Wrestlemania 2000. By then, they'll retcon the 2000 edition of Wrestlemania into Wrestlemania 16. They

I loved WCW Worldwide. For a short time in 1998 when i didn't have cable, it was the ONLY wrestling on my TV. At that point, it was usually mostly a recap show with a single exclusive match at the end, taped at the same studio they taped the Saturday Night matches in. By the end of the year, when i had cable back, i found myself prefering Saturday Night and Worldwide to Nitro and Thunder, because it was more wrestling and less talk. Well, SN anyways. Worldwide was mostly talk.
As late as October 2001, my local channel aired a rerun of WCW worldwide in the same 2am sunday night slot. I thought i was dreaming when i came across it. I indeed had several dreams about WCW making a return to TV. But this one was real, I taped the end part of it.

Roxxi's back? She was always one of my favorites. Oh, she's gone again? Stupid TNA, they have such potential, but they smurf it up every time.

Festus was awesome. During the Dalton Boys tag team, once he started doing the bell gimmick, Festus was literally my favorite wrestler for a while. They really missed an opportunity for him in the royal rumble. Ring the bell every time someone comes out, and watch festus stand there with his mouth open for 2 minutes.
While he was Luke Gallows, I held out hope that he'd "get back on the drugs" and become festus again. Becoming straight edge just ruined his character for me.

They should permanently switch to the Old School Raw stage. For every show. Replace the RAW with whatever's appropriate.

Of course, being that Del Rio is puerto Rican, the point is moot.
