Because the Knockouts were originally booked as a highly competitive female division who were more about competing and proving themselves as capable wrestlers. Around the time Gail Kim left, it started to slowly slide into the Russo'esque booking of dumb skits and less about the wrestling.
The first 5 or 6 months of the Knockouts division was the best wrestling on TV in ages.

If he's smart, he's got a 3-5 years left.
My biggest question though is if he does go back to WWE... will they still use the ECW edit of his theme without the You Suck parts???

By the way, I happened to catch the ECW replay while recovering from a hangover on Saturday Night on Universal HD... the Henry ECW Belt looks stupid as hell on anyone that's not Henry....

Raven's leaving WCW was one of those awesome few moments in that era where I had gone without the internet a few days for some baseball tournament or something, and was watching ECW on TNN and got totally surprised by the whole thing.
The other being Warrior's WCW debut.

I laughed at Justin Credible with the Diet Coke. Ready made feud for CM Punk.. no wonder he debuted against Credible.

It fit the storyline not too badly. Austin hated Triple H so much he'd make McMahon the World Champion by screwing Triple H.
Better than Arquette..

Someone on here had a great theory...
Because Savage took the Slim Jim sponsorship to WCW which was a HUGE sponsor to the WWF at the time.

WWE is still weird to me mostly because I catch myself always typing "the WWE" when infact it should be just "WWE" like WCW and ECW were. I feel like an idiot whenever I say "the WWE" because The World Wrestling Entertainment is not correct!!
It's like the infamous Bush-ism of "The Google".

Actually, I'm relatively sure that Bret was still under contract with WWF for like a month after the Screwjob. So I've always thought, but both Bischoff and Jerry Lawler seem to be under the impression that Bret could have appeared on WCW pretty much straight after leaving the WWE. The question comes up in the Monday Night Wars roundtable discussion. Lawler also seems to think the whole Montreal thing might have been a secret work, and JR implies that Vince could have found a way to keep Bret with the company if he'd wanted to. I'm with Lawler on this one. I think Vince and Bret are the only two people in on it and once Bret was done with WCW would've come back for a huge feud. However, his stroke and Owen's death changed everything.

There's two arguments to be made about Evolution.
1) They propelled two guys to stardom in Orton and Batista. Orton will probably the next IT guy. No other stable has ever gone on to produce two guys of that star caliber AFTER the stable. The nWo never promoted anyone to main event on the stable side itself, only the faces they fought in Goldberg and DDP. The Horsemen never let anyone besides Flair carry the main strap. The Hart Foundation would probably have produce Owen and Bulldog as World Champions eventually had SS98 not happened , but it did so it's not worth arguing. The Nation produced the Rock... but because of that does that make the Nation the best stable ever?
And the flip side...
2) Evolution's effect as a stable was so short lived that it should not and cannot be compared to the Four Horsemen. Their ratings impact was nill compared to the nWo. When people think of greatest stables... it will probably be in this order.. Horsemen, nWo, DX, Hart Foundation. While the Hart Foundation was also fairly short lived, the Hart Foundation vs Austin was what produced the second coming of Hulk Hogan for wrestling in Stone Cold Steve Austin. Without that feud, Austin does not become who we remember him as.
You can argue either way and you can make valid points. I didn't watch much wrestling during Evolution, so I can't be a huge judge on them. What I'm giving is the basic argument both sides give. I see them in the top 5 stables... I'm just not sure where. However, in terms of legend... the Horsemen will always be #1 in most older wrestling fans hearts.

Bischoff's book said that the laying down for Hulk was planned and that Hogan was fine with it because it was going result in a tournament for the belt that was going to be the whole build up to Halloween Havoc and was going to be a big pay off.
However, Russo then went and did the shoot after Hogan and Bischoff left the arena to sell the angle. Which not only betrayed Hogan, but Bischoff as well since they were supposed to agree on all aspects of the show.
That's just what Bisch's book said. Not necessarily the truth, but I believe it.

I'd nominate Robert Downey Jr as Ric Flair.
